Description "Estoy dispuesto a hacerlo.” ~ Krokodil

Name: Krokodil

Nicknames:  “Old Man” (by mostly everyone), “Abuelo” (by Cazador), El Krokodil, Juan Carlos Cucarez (his real name)

Gender: Male

Died In: 1912

Species: Skeletal Crocodile Demon

Likes: Smoking his pipe, drinking tequila, sleeping, riding horses, sunsets, money, telling stories of his life, Mariachi music, tricking/pranking, gold

Dislikes: Not getting to smoke, lack of sleep, working too much, stupid people, being called lazy

Headcanon Voice: Christian Lanz

Personality: Krokodil is an old fashioned, cranky and kooky skeleton Crocodile demon who has a habit of getting himself into trouble often. Krokodil isn’t afraid to speak whats on his mind and can be pretty mouthy, often spewing what he thinks of someone and something. Krokodil can be very brash, as he likes looking for a fight; though he doesn’t do so to be a jerkass but because he likes tricking and pulling pranks on others. Often he just does just to make complete asses of his enemies. While Krokodil is a fairly smart guy, he has a bad habit of thinking lazy and will slack off or sleep when something doesn’t interest him. Expect him to put in extra effort when it is something that interests him. While he has a good list of feats, he has a bad habit of making up stories of him pulling off other feats, many of which are dubious in quality. In truth, his relationship with the truth is….distant.

Because he never really got to know Cazador (having died long before he was born after all) his relationship with Cazador is aloof and rocky. Being that he is not the legendary revolutionary that he was made out to be, Cazador is at first disappointed to see that he is not the man he was told he was, but Krokodil retorts that he was never aiming to be a great guy to begin with. Krokodil also is pretty slow with technology, not knowing what it means and is confused as to how it works (even if sometimes they can be simply turned on). In his freetime, Krokodil likes to go out and ride with his hellhorse Silver Tornado out in the prairies

Occupation: Bandito

Powers and Weapons: Smoke Breath: Krokodil can blast out a stream of smoke at his opponents to cover the area or choke his foes. Bone Darts: Krokodil can shoot out bony darts from his body that he can shoot at his foes. Extraordinary Jumper: Krokodil can jump up to high heights. Cattleman Revolver: Krokodil is equipped with a cattleman revolver he can use to shoot at his opponents. Rapier: Krokodil is also armed with a rapier that he can use to hack and slash at his opponents.

Bio: Born in 1842, Juan Carlos Cucarez was born as the son to the rich rancher Senor Jorge Cucarez and his wife Senorita Maria Cucarez. Jorge Cucarez was a well known rancher and was very famous for his popular Casa de Cucarez, which was a popular place for tourists, banditos, dancers, singers and the rich to party all the like. Juan Carlos Cucarez would often attend these parties himself when he was young, even smoking his first cigar when he was six. Juan Carlos Cucarez didn’t go to school, as instead he was homeschooled, but this gave off the impression that he was uneducated. Truth is that Maria Cucarez just didn’t want her boy to go out alone in the dangerous lands they lived in. And boy would she be right.

Juan Carlos Cucarez had a pretty normal life for the most part, though he’d occasionally get into a fight and flirt with every girl he saw (he was even referred to as the town’s “male tart”) up until he reached the age of 18, when his father died. As stated in his will, Juan Carlos Cucarez was given ownership of the Casa de Cucarez. However then the government came down on everyone’s asses and alas Juan was just not ready to combat them yet, so it was a curbstomp; Juan lost the Casa de Cucarez and was greatly disliked for failing to keep the town’s most popular place up and running. Making matters even worse, his mother died from depression. Vengeful, Krokodil then decided to rebel and became a revolutionary figure, leading the charge against Mexico’s more corrupt figures with his followers, fighting for the oppressed.

Juan Carlos Cucarez had many battles with the Mexican government officers, often stealing from them and giving the money away to the poor and suffering; quickly becoming something of a folk hero around his parts. Once the Mexican government ceased for a bit (this was also due in part to the fact that there was war approaching), Juan Carlos Cucarez declared himself as the victor and partied for three days and three nights with his friends. During this time, he then met a woman named Kassandra, who he had saved from being attacked by some aggressive ruffians. Juan and Kassandra then eventually settled down, got married and had a son, naming him Manuel. After some time however, Juan Carlos Cucarez then traveled to America, riding off into the sunset to continue being a revolutionary, never to be seen or heard from again.

…..or at least that’s where people often believe it did. While most people would stop there, Juan Carlos Cucarez’s story did not end there. No, for you see, a lot of Mexico’s police were now after Juan Carlos Cucarez and wanted him dead due to him having killed so many of their soldiers and officers beforehand. Now being a family man though and not warning them to be killed due to being connected to him, Juan fled to America to escape them. Once he got there however, he was arrested due to being an illegal immigrant. He was put in prison for a few days, but then freed himself when he tricked the guards and beat them to death. As he was escaping, he met some banditos in there that also wanted to be freed. Juan then also freed them too and joined a gang of banditos. Liking his new life, Juan became a fearsome outlaw and had a high body count, with lots of gold to go with him. He was known as “The Skull” to many, due to how many people he had killed. Eventually though, the gang he joined came to an end when they disbanded; Juan was also then captured again and put in prison, this time lasting for years.

Finally, he was released in 1911. Unable to return to Mexico and now too old and weak to continue on, Juan Carlos Cucarez lived the rest of his life as a homeless stranger on the streets (or deserts, depending where he liked to go). In 1912, Juan died out on the deserts due to dehydration. He was left there, forgotten and remembered only as some common, run of the mill outlaw. As he died he then appeared in Xibalba, now as a skeletal crocodile demon known as “Krokodil”. Krokodil took a new liking to being in Hell, partaking in many escapades in both Xibalba and Pentagram City, where he continued being an outlaw.

Krokodil would find trouble however once he ran into the Sector Patrol officer, El Condor; a Sinner who would be his sworn enemy. The two had many battles; but in the end, Krokodil was little match for the vile vulture sinner patrolman. Not wanting to repeat his same mistake he made in life; Krokodil then got himself a passport to the Wrath Ring and went into hiding. He resided there until one day he was rescued by Cazador who picked him out of there and then traveled back to the Pride Ring to go live with his grandson.
