Overlord vs. Eminence in Shadow
Connections (credits to Lophiii):
- Japanese people who got reincarnated in a fantasy world.
- They are by far the strongest people in their respective worlds.
- Leaders of a secret organization which is filled with strong members (Nazarick and Shadow Garden), although they never really play an active role in managing their organization due to their incompetency and instead leaving that responsibility to one of their close aides (Albedo/Demiurge and Alpha/Beta).
- Both are chuunibyous (Japanese colloquial term typically used to describe early teens who have grandiose delusions). Though Ainz act like that on purpose to fool his subordinate. Shadow acts like that unironically because he thinks that it's cool.
- Both have very devoted subordinates that admires them.
- Their subordinates thinks that both of them are some kind of 5-D chess master even though they are actually incompetent and only acts like they know everything.
- There's also an important group in their organization where all the members are named after Greek letters (The Pleaides and The Seven Shades).
