Mheetu had decided to leave some space for Kopa ,a few hours later he decided to go looking for him because there were more lions in the territory that could attack him ,he followed his trail and found him watching the sunset on a small hill ,Mheetu sighed and approached him slowly so as not to scare him ,Kopa heard him but did not move.
M- hey.... are you ok? I was starting to worry about you
Said Mheetu as he sat down next to kopa.
K- I'm fine...
M- Are you sure?lately you are very discouraged ,do you want to talk about it?
K- I'm fine, Mheetu.....
M- You don't look like it ,i can tell in your voice that something is bothering you. You can tell me about it
Kopa didn't answer. He seemed irritated, Mheetu noticed this, but he really wanted to help him.
M-Kopa, please, I want to help you as much as I can, I don't want you to get worse....
Kopa growled and bristled , and then he jumped up angrily and looked at him.
K- It's ok ,you know what's wrong with me?! I feel useless, I feel like I am worthless, and that at this point, I will never be able to do anything by myself !
Kopa shouted as he started to cry
K- What good is it if I keep fighting if I can never be like any other lion! My scars make me look like a monster, I don't even have a tail! What's the use of going on Mheetu?! When you don't love me anymore, you will abandon me, and I won't be able to defend myself against this horrible world!
Mheetu looked at him with sadness
M-kopa....
K- no! Leave me alone, dad!
Kopa quickly shut up when he called Mheetu " Dad".
Mheetu lowered his ears and hugged him . He was holding back tears as he hugged the little lion .Kopa started to cry even more and returned the hug.
K- s-sorry...
M- Don't apologize, but I want you to know something. You are very precious to me, and I would never forgive myself if anything happened to you.
Mheetu looked him in the eyes
M- Please don't ever talk about yourself like that again .You are the most important lion to me, and it hurts me when you say that ....
Kopa listened to him while he was still crying.
M- And you know what? Scars are reminders that something happened to you and you overcame it ,to me, they make you look strong ,don't feel useless because you don't have a tail,look at me,I don't have a leg and I'm a good hunter ,aren't I?
Mheetu smiled and licked his head.
M- I would never abandon you, I would give my own life for you to survive. You are like a son I never had, Kopa, remember that.
Kopa smiled and licked him affectionately.
K- thank you, Daddy ....
M- you are welcome, son .i will always be there for you
