Description
History: Before the Great War, the predecessor to the Imperial Grimm Army was the Army of Vale, lead by the King of Vale. After the King of Vale gained the powers to control the Grimm, he and his army used the Grimm to conquer Mantle and Mistral, marking the first time in history that Grimm and Humans fought along side each other.

When the Empire of Vale reformed into the Grimm Empire, and the King of Vale became the Grimm Emperor, the Army of Vale became the Imperial Grimm Army. The army was the largest in Remnant's history, and from Anima to Vacuo, the Imperial Grimm Army wandered and raided.

When the Warring States Period began, the Grimm Emperor did nothing to stop his warlords from fighting each other, despite having the largest and most powerful army in Remnant. This was intentional, to furthers humanity divide.

However, when Salem and the Remnantian Alliance started a rebellion against the Grimm Emperor, they laid siege to Vale, where the Imperial Grimm Army defended. Despite their vicious defense, Vale fell, and the Grimm Emperor killed.

This caused the Imperial Grimm Army to splinter, as a majority fled to the Mysterious Continent, while those remained joined with various rival warlords. Eventually the Imperial Army be abolished, and became the predecessor to the Grimm Army
