Description
This is dedicated to my friends and cosplaying as the characters Miaka and Yui from Fushigi Yuugi. To be honost, I've never seen the series before, but the way these costumes turned out is just what city of Seattle needed; the elegance of spring.I really had a good time hanging out with these two.

But don't say that is Fushigi Yuugi, please. It is maybe INSPIRED from but God! That's all!
I'm a huge fan of FY and the only things that is real on this pic is Yui is blond and cold colored; Miaka is brunette and hot colored.
That doesn't not mean that is not great costumes. It is well made and beautifull. But not real cosplay. Just costumes inspired from...

You must actually know that those pic are made by assistant of Yu Watase as a gift to her and use for the release of official sub-stuffs in asia. Art pieces used for traducted relaese are not always official art from the autor. 
And I still think that a cosplay is supposed to represent a whole character, not just one fantasy pic from assitants... My opinion.
BUT I repeat myself on: these are magnificiant costume still. ^^

Actually, that's not true. These were based off of promotionla art pieces done for the release of the laserdisk box set. I can show you the pieces if you like, but be assured they are legit pieces tied to the series.
