the chains that bind him are like living beings rather than mere chains as they tow and drag their prisoner around, even restraining him if he causes trouble or gets out of hand. although the chains seem to have a strange fondness for their prisoner as well, chaining and binding him up for simply no other reason than to toy with him. even stranger is that the chains will even do what their confined prisoner says or commands, even in fights although there are limitation in what the chains will actually do for him.

aside from being made out of an incredibly strong reinforced metal, enhanced by unknown means & seemingly having an intelligence of their own, they also have a multitude of abilities from being connected by small portals that have the ends snaking out. the chains can also lash out with such speed and power that they can not only carve through stone but cleave a man in two, they are also able to generate black electricity that when it makes contact with another living being will cause immense pain to wrack the targets body.

as for Prisoner #109, or Chain Hound as he's called, while on the surface he appears as nothing more than a thug he is still dangerous. physically his body has shrunk from what he was before he was imprisoned, but his strength is still strong enough to rip a bears head off their shoulders, able to chase down a speeding car, and is able to withstand immense pain and damage. aside from his physical capabilities Chain Hound has a few abilities of his own:

-anything he touches he can drain the body of its nutrients, making anything he touches become emaciated and even withered.
-he's also able to absorb the body heat of anything he touches, causing them to gain something similar to hypothermia, he can then use that excess heat he drains to create something like sizzling heat that can cause 2nd degree burns to others.
