there's no real backstory for this particular character, as he doesn't have a name in his title. but i do like this character, cause I never made a male character this naked, having very little clothing aside from his ruined pants, and shawl wrapped around his waist. and the backpack.

and for the staff strapped to the characters waist, I came up with the idea that the either the torch or short spear can be wedged into the staff head, making it a traditional longer spear, or just a longer staff with its head piece of fire. and I know you can't quite see it, but on the backpack is a rope that can be tied to the staff, so it can be a staff sling.
