Vlaar originally hails from a tribe of kobolds that serve an ancient green dragon, one might say that he still is, but no one really knows if he left the tribe of his own free will or not. only thing is certain though, Vlaar is a crafty and tricky kobold, always looking over his shoulder. sensing and looking for any threats or anything that would do him harm, as he well knows that kobolds are often despised of, or even targeted and attacked for nothing more than killing ones boredom. or just because he's a kobold. Vlaar trust no-one or anything, his only motivations is self preservation and profit for himself, and while he has worked and explored various dungeons with other people, he is still closed off to others.

as a rouge Vlaar tries to keep his distance, by using a short bow to hail arrows at targets, but if enemies get to close he has a whip that he keeps hidden under his scarf around his neck, and a modified rapier that has been made to look like a simple cane.

oh don't mind is tongue. due to a injury to his head and jaw, it won't fully slip back into his mouth. another reason why Vlaar doesn't trust others as it was a random adventure--another rouge from an established party of adventurers--that inflicted this injury onto him.
