so here is an interesting little race, the Grung are basically frog people and while i don't really know much about them, they are like rainforest tree frogs (hence why i made mine like a poison dart frog) and they have a cast system based on their skin coloration and patterns. and like poison dart frogs they are very toxic, able to produce poisons, which they use to coat their weapons and use for some special abilities. oh, and they are a naturally evil race by being slavers.

so yeah i have to make an anthropomorphic poison dart frog person, who live in a cast system that keep slaves. into a ranger. this is going to be hard, or at least i thought.

for this Ranger Grung challenge, I made him look like a rainforest assassin type of character, wearing a cloak of dried plants and has some shackles and bands with special herbs and plants for beneficial uses. and when it comes to rangers who can be either melee or ranged unites, i decided to go with a poison dart gun blower. now blow guns in D&D are considered fairly weak, but i thought it would fit so perfectly. now i kind of goofed on the colors of the cloak and skin, i should've made the cloak a little lighter so it doesn't blend with the black skin tone. now i did try to make this character be in a more standing pose, but for some reason the head and body always merge into one another so it just looked like a large head, with skinny as arms and legs sticking out.

now i don't really have a background story for this character, sorry.
