Here's another character sketchdump! I've been doing a lot of sketching lately.ΒI've been trying to work on the shapes of the character's heads and bodies as well as trying out some more expressions and such. [^.^]

You make such amazing character sketches! Β Something I'm curious to know, how do you go about making expressions for your characters? Β Every time I make character expressions they generally look awkward (you can look at my gallery and see for yourself).

Normally when I'm working on expressions I tend to focus on the eyes, as they are the most expressive parts of the face. You can have their eyes widen or closed or squinting depending on the mood or emotion you're trying to convey. I even try to exaggerate them a bit. Other times I try to look at references for facial expressions too.

and by the look of the upper lips and such, it looks like you're planning on taken on the Kim Possible art style a bit.

A little bit but not a lot of it. i've been interested in Stephen Silver's art style lately that it's been my inspiration for the style I'm trying to achieve. I'm not going for the whole style really, I'm still creating a foundation for my own. [^^ ]
