Okay, so I was drawing Ella again and I was messing around with the design of her suit. I do like how it looks, however I still love her current design. I don't know if I want to switch to it yet.

I'm not digging the change, either. I don't think it's too much green as the problem, exactly. I think it's more that this costume is too busy. I'll grant that it's not a very complex design, but busy-ness is relative.
Hmm, it might work better if you go with a sleeveless top and angle the tops of the gloves to match the boots.

I was just experimenting with a design that popped into my mind. I do agree that it is a bit too much green. I'm still going to go with her current design since I think it's a better balance of color. But I may still mess around with different designs.

Mmm... I think there's just too much green, or that the wrong parts are green. It's still okay, but I think the first version is better. It'd make a sweet alt skin for a fighting game though.

You might be right. Plus she had a short experience with a Power Ring before.
I tried to keep as much of the white spaces on her suit as I could, but now looking at how much more green there is, I think I am better off with keeping the balance that I have with her current suit. It was just a random design idea that popped into my head that I wanted to try out. I'm still going to go with her current design, which I also consider my favorite.
But I may continue to try out different designs for her, just to experiment with.

Nothing wrong with experimenting, not at all. That's how "happy accidents" sometimes happen.
The real trick, after "turning lead into gold", is the ability to repeat that result with greater skill and efficiency.
