She doesn't seem to care that much about her lack of arms
well, maybe she can run faster that way 
I did this a few months ago, while watching the anime serie "Battle Athletes". It's an old anime, but it was quite entertaining.
That also explains why this girl looks like so much of the heroine
It was also my first use of a back highlight (the blue highlight in the shadows). Now I use this kind of highlight a lot.
I particulary liked how I did her hair and her bright expression ^_^ But I'm a bit "sad" about her breasts: her nipples are poking out too much

Excellent pic as usual Gamera, but it's tough to read her expression. Without seeing her eyebrows, she could be screaming in fear or pain. I love the sleeves tied around her stumps though.

Gamera, it's funny. I took a single look at her when I loaded the image, and my first thought is that it looked like Kanzaki Akari too. Then I read the description and then I saw that you were inspired to draw something like her. Excellent stuff, as usual. Now, I must go steal miss Akari for myself. She's a bubblehead, but a very sweet person.

Actually I saw a woman quite like this on TLC one nights. She is armless but her legs are incredibly muscular which she used to maintain balance.
