I haven't done an actual traditional, drawing in like YEARS, and I've been on a kaiju kick recently.
Here is Mothra, from the "Millennium" Toho, movie series. Took me about 90 minutes.

I drew the 2014 Godzilla recently for a commission from one of my neighbors a few days ago. (no photo though)

I know it's not completely accurate since I've been kinda rusty, LOLs.
Might do another sketch soon, but not sure which classic kaiju I want to tackle next.

Done with a standard, #2 pencil for the sketch.
Shaded and outlined with the following:
PrismaColor Premier .05 fine line marker, black.
Foray 'rolle' .05 fine line pen, black.
Bic "537R" .05 fine line pen, black.
'generic' .75 medium line pen, black.

Edited in "sumopaint" (online paint program) to enlarge the photo from my cellphone camera
and to also make the black areas more visible. Total time about 30 minutes.
