Mulan is in a line up of potential brides, and even though she's been made up to look the part, she knows that she's nothing like these girls.

This edit is in the same vein as Draw This Again, where an artist takes an old drawing of theirs, and draws it again to show the improvement of their skills. Here's the link.

I started recreational photo editing twelve years ago, when I was twelve years old. The second picture is one of my first attemps at this, and the flaws are fairly obvious.

I was limited to using the program Paint, I only knew how to move picture boxes around instead of properly masking them, I zoomed in too close to the faces, and I used a central character twice.

In the recent version, it's zoomed out a bit, the girls are each put at a proper distance from each other, and it hopefully looks like one piece instead of six disjointed ones. It's also lightly filtered to make the colors (particularly their red lips) stand out a bit. There's no text, since it's really not needed for this theme; the conflict is internal.

I'm constantly improving, and I'll continue to do so. And if you see an area I can improve in, let me know if you'd like.
