Dragonet > Ero hatched small and runt-like right along side his much healthier brother Taro. Concerned, his parents focused mostly on him and nearly neglected Taro for the next few years as they made sure Ero was well fed, watched over, and cared for. This left Taro bitter, independent, and envious of his "younger" brother. Even with all of the extra care he got from his parents, Ero's life still had its issues. He was constantly picked on because of how scrawny he was at the time and dealt with bullies and anxiety during his first few years at school. He was even picked on for wanting to go to The Isle Mezzo and "be a hero" or "help all of the tribes". Luckily his brother still had a soft side for him and helped him gain confidence in himself, teaching him tricks and ways to defend himself when the others took the teasing too far. Sometimes Taro would even step in himself. But after a while, Ero got a little too confident and would be the one to start the fights. While he grew healthier and larger, he also became tougher and more paranoid which eventually led to him to forgetting about his dream and getting in trouble on a regular basis. His reckless behavior got the Queen's attention after a few months of constantly getting in fights or trouble in general and at only 6 he was nearly kicked out of the rainforest. Instead, he was sent to a new school and was supervised nearly every second of the day. He even went to certain classes to help with his aggression. This, along with a long and emotional talk his brother had given him, finally made him realize what had happened. To his parents, it was like he had changed overnight. He began to focus on his classes and attitude, getting nearly perfect grades as he focused on his dream again. His behavior still needed some work but after a couple more months he just seemed like a normal person a bit on edge.

Young Adult > After finishing up school, Ero studied a bit more in law and war history in his free time. He even got a job as a bodyguard a couple of times cause of his size and strong demeanor. Because of his rapid and clear improvement after previously getting a bunch of attention from the tribe, his friends and family encouraged him to follow him dream. They knew how much it had mattered to him since he was little and how much he worked to get there. After a quick sort of "farewell party" with gifts and hugs, Ero was overjoyed and on his way. It felt like a second chance for him and a dream come true.
