Well, I'm not up to date on what sort of visual novel or whatever type of media it is from or called, but yeah I've heard of love plus. Probably is that, I think it's like a dating thing or something. Don't really know too much about it.
It was on an article on kotaku I believe, at the time. Or maybe another site, I don't remember.

I watched the video. It's pretty sad that some people work so much they just don't have time for a life, and have to resort to dating sims for a love life.
They're just living to work, and not working to live. Still, I don't think that justifies publicly announcing that you're marrying a pillow or a 3DS character.
Well, at least the picture is wrong. You technically can marry a fictional character. Just not in a traditional sense.
