--------------Shinobi Ryu: Path of the Samurai-----------

YO! This is Axell! Nani? You didn’t hear that?

Various ninjas rush past each other through trees and as silhouettes of others went past the screen.

Fine! I’ll repeat that one more time! My name is Axel! It is awesome for me to fight!

One figure stopped in front of a village with a leaf symbol on the gate. The figure took out a hexagon before a key flipped out and a Japanese dragon coated in light flew out of it.

Now time for ‘Shinobi Ryu: Path of the Samurai!’! My finisher attack! FIRE VERSION!!

The dragon soared through the sky before stopping in the air with its body turning into the title while its head stayed the same. The dragon roared once more before the title vanished.

[Insert Madan Senki Ryukendo Opening]

Dareka ga nanika wo neratteru~ (Someone is being targeted.)

The scene shifted to a dark sky above a roaring sea in the Country of the Waves. A green silhouette of a figure roared by and stirred the waves even more while a yellow silhouette of another figure covered in electricity followed it.

Ijigen no tobira ga hiraku~ (A gate to another dimension is opening)

It then cut to a desert in the Country of the Wind as a brown silhouette of another figure running through the blistering winds. A red figure then burst out of the sand in a tower of flame and started to run with the brown figure.

Yami ni kakurete ugokidasu~ (Hiding in the darkness it’s moving…)

It then switched to the two figures from before landing beside a blue figure that is standing in front of the Village Hidden in the Sands. The blue figure took out a trident and rushed towards the screen with the others behind him with their weapons out as well.

Orokana negai~! (…foolish desire!)

It then changed to the person who held the key who is now standing between a white figure and a black figure. The camera zooms out to show they are standing in front of the Village Hidden in the Leaves before the person and the figures dashed toward the screen respectively.

GO! GO! Akirametari shinai~! (GO! GO! You can’t give up!)

The scene then shifted to a shining, roaring silhouette of a dragon flying through the skies with the green and yellow silhouettes from before, flying to the left, before the yellow silhouette went into a sonic boom.

GO! GO! Yuuki wo furi-shibore~! (GO! GO! Gather up that courage!)

It then shifted to the Village Hidden in the Leaves zooming in on the Hokage Monument showing the figure standing on the Fourth Hokage’s Head before he changed into SamuraiRyuOh.

Keshite mirai no jama wa sasenai~! (Don’t let anything get in the way of the future!)

A flash from SamuraiRyuOh’s Fire Elemental Orb morphed the scene to SamuraiRyuOh’s visor gleaming. The view slowly zoomed out as an aura begins to show around him as he clenched his right fist.

Atsuku moesakare GA GA GA GA~!! (Blazing hotly! GA GA GA GA!!)

It cut to reveal various images of the others, ready to attack. As ‘GA’ was shouted, the scene shifted to pairs of the Dragon Spirits with Ryuzaki with them. Axel and Ryuzaki were shown in the first. Tochi and Mizuro were shown in the second. Raichi and Ventus are noticed in the third. Ryusei and Zakiryu were then seen in the final frame.

Subete wo Kakete~! (Everything’s at stake!)

SamuraiRyuOh withdrew Ryuken, jumped off the Hokage Monument and rushed towards the screen.

Kibou no kagi ga kagayakeba~ (If the key of hope glows…)

The scene then changed to the red silhouette before it revealed itself to be Axel. The Camera zoomed out to show he is facing against Juugo in the Forest of Death as he tries to attack him in a berserk state, only to rear back from the roaring flames Axel is producing with his Flame Spinners.

Kiseki ga mai-oriru~! (…A miracle will occur!)

It then shifted to the green silhouette, which revealed it to be Ventus. The camera zoomed out to show he is facing off against Kabuto as the samurai uses his Gale Archer in Naginata mode before manipulating the wind to blow back Kabuto.

Kono mune no kodou DA DA DA DA~! (The beat in my heart goes DA DA DA DA!!)

It then cut to the yellow silhouette that then change to reveal Raichi, who is currently dancing to avoid Suigetsu's sword swings. He took out his Thunder Shooters and started to shoot away lightning at the swordsman while Suigetsu blocked the shots coming at him.

Araburu Tamashii~ (Wild soul)

It then changes to a rainy forest with the brown silhouette that then revealed to be Tochi. He is currently facing off against Kisame as they used their Mountain Striker and Samehada respectively to parry each other’s attacks. The scene then switched to the oceans with the blue silhouette, which then revealed to be Mizuro as he used his Wave Crasher against Team Oboro to drive them away from a boat filled with villagers.

Seigi no tsurugi wo kakagete~! (Hoist up the sword of justice!)

It then changed to the white and black figures on top of a hill. The figures where then revealed to be Ryusei and Zakiryu looking at the horizon with grim looks as silhouettes of the Akatsuki were seen in the darkened sky. The two looked at each other before nodding and flew off towards them with the group. As they took off, a silhouette of an Akatsuki member with purple, rippled eyes glowed maliciously.

Aku wo kiri-sakun da~! (Cut up the evil!)

The member mentioned in the last stanza released an energy wave at the group. It blew back everyone except SamuraiRyuOh as he blocked it with his Ryuken.

Madan Madan Madan Senki (Madan Madan Madan Chronicles)

It changed to Hikaru in the seal roaring as he poured his power into SamuraiRyuOh before the mentioned samurai’s visor glowed and charged at the figure.

Ryukendo~!

It then changed to show the entire group in the seal with Hikaru standing behind. SamuraiRyuOh stepped forward and reverted to his civilian self, revealing himself as Ryuzaki before he gave a thumbs-up to the audience.

[Insert Kamen Rider Decade: Drama No Arasuji]

Previously on Shinobi Ryu! Path of the Samurai!

The Light Dragon roared as it tried to get the person off its face by ramming its head towards the cage. But Ryuzaki was able to dodge that attempt, and jumped to the neck of the dragon. Thankfully, the armor that is covering him protected him from the sharp spines. In no time at all, it has become an all time rodeo match with the dragon being the bull!

“You mean you don’t know?” Ventus asked as he and the other Dragon Spirits tried to calm Axel, “Kid, this is your mindscape.”

“Samurai Henshin!” Ryuzaki announced as he tossed the sword into his right hand in a normal stance before swinging it forward, allowing a European dragon of pure energy to come out and soar into the air.

The dragon roared before it flew back down, encasing him in light. It then dissipated revealing Ryuzaki in the same armor he was in when he was in the mindscape, only this time the orbs are still there. He then sheathed the sword back in its scabbard.

“Even though she is evil, I still couldn’t help but feel bad for her. Not only that, but I want to save her from her darkness.” Ryuzaki discussed.

“Sir,” Shikamaru spoke up, “My answer is… that you have permission to take the girl with you. She won’t be detained, we’ll make sure of that.”

“Thank you, and please… call me SamuraiRyuOh in this form,” Ryuzaki said as he picked up Tayuya while the naginta went back to its bow form before attaching itself to Ryuzaki’s back.

“NO! WAIT! CAN I TELL YOU ABOUT THE DEAL I MADE WITH TAYUYA!?” Ryuzaki shouted in fear as he backed up in fright.

“Hey! What’s wrong with my hand?!” Ryuzaki exclaimed as his possessed hand took out the key displaying the warrior coming out of the ground.

“Dragon Spirit Key, ACTIVATE!” Axel roared as he jammed the key into the Ryuken.

“Summon: Dragon Spirits!” The Ryuken droned.

The elemental orbs flew out of Ryuzaki’s pockets before they crashed through the window, flew through different directions in Konoha. Ryuzaki rushed toward the shattered window in anxiety and shock.

“What in the world just happen?!?” The samurai demanded as he, Tsunade, Sakura, Shikamaru, and Naruto looked on in shock as the events took place in front of them. The Light Dragon inside just growled in annoyance as he laid his head down and went to sleep.

Things have just got even more complicated.

[Insert Naruto: Bad Situation]

“Of all the events that have taken place today, this has to be the worst of them all!” Ryuzaki shouted as he ruffled his hair in confusion, “How did this happen?! And if that key did what I think it did, then we are in serious trouble!”

“What do you mean by that?” Tsunade asked.

“Those orbs each contain a Dragon Spirit, a warrior that can use one of the Nature Transformations! Their personalities fit with the element they control!” Ryuzaki frantically explained as he paced in the hospital, “I have to go find them, before things could get crazy!”

He was about to rush out of the room, but Tsunade stopped him.

“Wait! If you are going to catch them, you’re going to need help. Kakashi, Kurenai, and Gai will accompany you along with me,” She said with precaution.

“While I appreciate the help, but this is something you, I, or any of this village has never experienced!!” Ryuzaki roared in frustration.

“That’s why I’m recommending them and me to help you! What more do you want!?” Tsunade reminded as she and Ryuzaki glared at each other.

Naruto, Sakura, and Shikamaru could only look in horror as the argument progressed. No one has ever argue against the Fifth Hokage and lived!

“Wait!” A voice shouted.

The arguing ceased like a fuse dipped in water, and the duo turned to see Tayuya standing by the door with a few seals hanging off of her.

“How did you get out of the sealing tags and chain- Oh! Right…” Ryuzaki started to ask, but then he remembered the Cursed Seal on Tayuya’s neck.

“You think a pile of scrap metal and worthless seals is going to keep me strap to a bed!?” Tayuya rhetorically asked with a smirk.

“Well… I- Errr…” Ryuzaki gulped, now he is having second thoughts on letting Tayuya join, but he quickly shook his head out of that thought, “Oh, all right! But you are going to get it for fooling me with that forlorn act you just pulled!”

Tayuya just smirked as she watched Ryuzaki transformed into SamuraiRyuOh.

“Come on! Let’s go capture those guys!” He shouted as he headed for the window.

“Yosh! I’m coming-!” Naruto started to say, but was immediately silenced by Ryuzaki’s glare, and with the visor glowing to increase its effect.

“NO! You stay here! You’re currently recovering from your injuries! You’ll get to meet them someday!” Ryuzaki assured as he jumped out the window with Tayuya and Tsunade following him.

---------------------------Scene Change--------------------------

Chapter Four: Hurry! Catch the Runaway Dragon Spirits!

Ryuzaki sprinted through the streets of Konoha with Tayuya, Tsunade, Gai, Kurenai, and Kakashi running with him.

“So, who are we looking for first?” Tayuya panted as he run.

“I suggest we should find Tochi! He may be silent, but if you say anything related to defeat, he’ll come after you!” Ryuzaki explained.

“What would happen if we say anything like that?” Kakashi wondered.

“Let’s just say it gets rather crazy,” The samurai summarized, “but not as crazy as someone boasting the flames of youth.”

“YOSH! The flames of youth burned within you as well!” Gai boasted, making Ryuzaki wince from the sudden intensity of the shout, “As long as you keep those flames burning, nothing will make you cry or lose! Ha! Ha!”

Ryuzaki skidded to a sudden halt and grabbed the others and ducked behind a pile of garbage cans.

“I wish you shouldn’t have said that,” he warned as he peeked out.

Guy looked at him with confusion, wondering what the samurai meant by that. But it soon came to him, when a brown blur tackled him with a shout of ‘NAKERU!’.

Tsunade, Kurenai, Kakashi, and Tayuya could only watch in bewilderment as what appears to be a dragon samurai with an axe sword on his back, pinning Guy to the ground with his foot.

“My strength… will make you cry!” Tochi boasted as he did a victory pose with his axe sword raised.

“I told you not to say that!” Ryuzaki rebuked Guy as he helped him off the ground, “Still, you did got one Dragon Spirit off our list.”

“Hmm? Oh Ryuzaki-san!” Tochi noted as he placed his axe sword on his back, “What happened?”

“No time to explain, we have to find the other six before things could get hairy!” Ryuzaki said and immediately sprinted towards a random direction with the others following him.

---------------------------Scene Change--------------------------

“Okay, so who’s next?” Kakashi asked as he and the others stopped in front of a playground.

“This is where we are going to need Tsunade’s help here,” Ryuzaki notified, “Because Raichi quite a playful guy yet dangerous at the same time!”

“How dangerous?” Kurenai asked.

“One wrong move, and you’ll be facing the worst temper tantrum you ever seen in your entire life.” Ryuzaki warned.

“Nee~! Nee~! Ryuzaki! What’s a tamtrum?” Raichi asked.

“Oh, it’s when someone- GAH! Raichi!” Ryuzaki yelped at the sudden appearance of the lightning dragon. He didn’t even notice him sneaking up from behind!

“I found him playing with the kids,” Ventus explained as he walked towards them, “He sure has a soft spot for them.”

“Ventus, thank goodness you’re here!” Ryuzaki sighed with relief, “Come on, and let’s go find the other four!”

“Right!/Right!”

---------------------------Scene Change--------------------------

[Insert Naruto: Afternoon in Konoha]

“Okay, let’s think everyone, if I were Axel, were would I go?” Ryuzaki hummed as he assumed a thinking pose.

“What are his characteristics?” Tsunade asked.

“Well, he’s sorta hot headed like Tayuya here,” Ryuzaki noted, getting from the mentioned girl as her veins throbbed on her head, “And he get’s insulted real easily.”

“Sounds like the equivalent of a street brawler,” Kakashi summed it up as he reads a familiar orange book, only for it to be snatched away by Ryuzaki.

“NEVER! EVER! READ! THIS BOOK! IN FRONT OF ME! GOT IT!?” Ryuzaki growled as he gave the book to Tsunade who placed it in her waistcoat.

Kakashi broke into a nervous sweat at the ferocity of the samurai as he glared at him through his helmet. It looks like he is going to get the beat down of his life, except two familiar chakrams struck the wall behind them.

“OI! OI! What’s going on here!?” Axel grumbled as he went over and pulled the chakrams out with relative ease.

“Axel, what a nice surprise,” Ryuzaki sarcastically said with a creepy smile, “I had a feeling it was you that pulled that stunt earlier!”

“Yeah! What are you going to do about it, Gecko?” Axel retorted.

[End Naruto: Afternoon in Konoha]

One could have heard a vibraslap echoing in the background as Ryuzaki’s head jerked a bit when he heard that. It then pointed to the ground shadowing the visor in void of darkness. No one can see it, but Ryuzaki is extremely angry from the insult; one that he suffered during his childhood.

“What did you say?!” He demanded in a low voice as a dangerous aura formed around him, making the other Dragon Spirits stepped back in fear. The ninja of the group however, were confused to what is going on that even Tayuya was curious to the sudden change.

“I said it once, and I’ll say it again. I called you a gecko!” Axel mocked, not noticing the danger he is putting himself into.

Ryuzaki clenched his fist angrily as flames erupted from it. He raised his visor to show a fire of ultimate rage where his eyes are supposed to be.

“NEVER! CALL! ME! A! GECKO!” He roared as he gave one powerful punch to the Fire Dragon Spirit’s face, sending him packing to the Hokage Monument. His screams were heard until he slammed into the rock below the Fourth Hokage’s face.

Ryuzaki pulled back his visibly smoking hand, and huffed as he grumbled all the way, ignoring the looks of amazement and horror from the ninja.

“Whoa, what a punch!” Guy exclaimed as he watched Axel fall from the dent he made. Kakashi on the other hand, was glad he didn’t receive that, otherwise it would have hurt!

“Serves him right for ticking off Ryuzaki,” Tsunade said.

“Remind me not to get him on his bad side!” Tayuya spoke to the others as they nodded in approval.

---------------------------Scene Change--------------------------

[Insert Naruto: Evening]

A moment later after Axel regrouped with the others with the Dragon Spirit sporting a black eye; the group has continued their search a little slower after that event and extended their search in the Third Training Ground. No can see it, but they could tell Ryuzaki is still mad at Axel.

“So, who are we looking for again?” Kakashi asked while maintaining a safe distance from Ryuzaki as they passed a lake

“We are looking for Mizuro,” Ryuzaki growled, “From what you told me, this is the only place to have a body of water.”

“What’s that have to do with him?” Tayuya inquired as she walked with the Dragon Spirits, after taking a liking in them.

“From what I saw, I guess he wants to stay cool,” Ryuzaki said in a calmer tone, before it immediately brightened when he points to their target, “And what better to stay cool than to fish?”

The group followed the line where the hand is pointing and sees Mizuro sitting on a rock with a bamboo fishing rod in his hands. The Water Dragon Spirit seems to have noticed them as he puts away his rod into his pocket space.

“Yo! Ryuzaki! I see you have found Axel, Raichi, Ventus, and Tochi,” Mizuro noted before he saw the black eye on Axel, “and what happened?”

“Don’t ask!” Ventus and Tochi simultaneously warned.

Mizuro (confused to what they meant by that) was about to ask why, when Ryusei and Zakiryu literally dropped in, with the latter holding a man with white hair and red markings on his face, while also wearing kabuki clothing and wooden sandals as well. Zakiryu also has him in a chokehold with the man’s face turning blue as he struggled.

“Hey Ryuzaki! Look who we found at the hot springs! Peeking on the wrong side!” Ryusei spoke while pointing towards the man with a sly smile.

“He just made a big mistake,” Zakiryu stated while he kept the man from getting away, “Isn’t that right… Jiraiya?”

[End Naruto: Evening]

[Insert Naruto: It’s the Training!]

“YOU!” Ryuzaki roared, as he pulled out the Dragon Blade and Ryuken, “Zakiryu release him! I got a few words to say to him and you can join in on the ‘conversation’. And Axel if you ‘talk to him’ with us, I’ll forgive you for that little stunt you just pulled.”

The Dragon Spirits seem to understand the hidden message quite clearly as they took out their weapons with malefic smirks on their faces. Zakiryu released Jiraiya letting him drop to the ground.

“Here I come!” Axel chuckled as he twirled his chakrams. Flames surrounded the blades, he spin in a circle before he stopped in a pose.

“Mind if I hurt you? Can’t hear you!” Raichi laughed as he took out a thunder theme rifle while cocking it. The electricity gathered at the barrel, charging to full power.

“My strength… will make you cry!” Tochi boasted as he draws his axe sword. He swung it in his hand in the air before slamming it to the ground, causing it to crack.

“Mind if I string you along?” Mizuro asked in a creepy tone while summoning a water themed trident as he whacked it in his hand.

“Fight! Toward the end!” Ventus called as he took out a wind themed bow with his left hand before he made a motion that an arrow of pure wind in his right hand. He pulled the arrow back and aimed it at Jiraiya.

“Ryusei’s the name, Light is my game!” Ryusei said and took out two blades with curved ends based on the light. He swung them around before stopping with them spread out.

“Behold the ultimate power!” Zakiryu growled. An orb of darkness appeared in his hand before he clenched it to form a dark themed and double edge scythe. He then let it rest on his shoulder as darkness formed in his hands.

Pale was the only expression that Jiraiya knows as the angry warriors skulked towards him. Suddenly he pointed in a random direction.

“Ah look! What’s that?! Someone is reading an Icha Icha book!” Jiraiya yelled.

“What?!/What?!” The Dragon Warriors yelled and immediately turned around to see… an empty space.

[End Naruto: It’s the Training!]

“Let me guess he duped us…” Ryuzaki flatly stated in a deadpan voice.

“He did.” Ventus confirmed as he looked behind and watched the Jiraiya-shaped dust cloud fade away into nothingness.

“He is going to receive the most brutal beating he’ll ever get!” Ryuzaki growled in fury while he gripped his swords in anger.

“Enough!” Zakiryu shouted, calming Ryuzaki down enough to sheathe his swords while the others dismissed their weapons, “That guy may have gotten away because we weren’t focus enough and got distracted easily!”

“Indeed- Hey, wait a minute!” Ryuzaki remembered, “That reminds me! Tayuya!”

The mentioned girl jumped a bit from being startled so easily. Tsunade, Guy, Kakashi, and Kurenai stepped to the side as Ryuzaki marched towards the red head while he dispelled his armor in a flash.

“Where were we now?” He smugly asked, as he pulled out his bokken from his back before he whacked it in his palm, but Tayuya wasn’t the least bit scared but rather smug.

“Come on, what happened to your pity?” Tayuya smirked.

“It faded away the moment you revealed your true se—” Ryuzaki’s voice rose as he continued to whack the bokken in his hands, ready to strike until…

“Lady Tsunade!!” A voice cried out.

Everyone’s present attention was then caught when a medic-nin leaped in.

“What’s wrong?” Tsunade asked, wondering what could be the matter.

“It’s Naruto! He snuck out of his room!” The medic-nin explained.

“What!? He did?!” The Hokage shouted while Ryuzaki got the Dragon Spirits to revert to their ‘Dragon Orb’ selves and immediately placed them in his pockets.

“That kid sure doesn’t know when to follow orders,” Ryuzaki commented in a low voice and walked past Tayuya, but not before giving her a quick whack on the head with his bokken, “You guys go on ahead and find Naruto, I need to speak with Tayuya for a second!”

Most of the ninja departed, leaving Tsunade with Ryuzaki and Tayuya.

“Are you sure?” Tsunade asked, “You know she is a genjutsu user.”

“But she can’t use them without this!” Ryuzaki held up a familiar flute, much to Tayuya’s shock as she reached with futile to get it back with Ryuzaki keeping it away from her, “I saw her about to use it, and I figured it was something important so I grabbed it when I was leaving with Shikamaru to Konoha! I also took the other half of the flute and managed to fix it with a little help.”

In truth, Ryuzaki was able to fix it with Axel’s flame and Ventus’s careful instruction.

He gave the flute to Tsunade who looked at it for a moment before she handed it over to Ryuzaki. He gave a questioning look to her.

“You keep it, you might have better luck in guarding it than me,” Tsunade explained.

[Insert Naruto: My Name Is Naruto!]

Ryuzaki eyed at her for a minute before he took the flute into his hands and placed it inside his vest.

“Very well, but what about my test to become a Konoha ninja?” Ryuzaki reminded, but his question was answered when Tsunade held out to him a forehead protector.

“After seeing you giving that red dragon what he deserved and warning us of Tochi’s temper, I say you deserve it!” Tsunade said with a small smile.

“Gee… Thanks!” Ryuzaki thanked with repressed excitement in his voice and quickly tied it to his forehead. He then breathed out to calm himself before he saluted calmly, “You better go find that knucklehead! I’ll catch up after I do something here!”

Tsunade nodded and leaped off, leaving Tayuya and Ryuzaki alone, with the latter’s face in a serious expression and himself in an aura of rage.

[Insert Naruto: It's the Training]

“Now then!” Ryuzaki growled in an animalistic voice as he turned around to reveal his eyes turned reptilian, “Where were we?!”

Tayuya could only stare in horror as Ryuzaki skulked towards her like a predator cornering a prey to a corner. She couldn’t even move because of the large killer intent that is radiating from the infuriated samurai as he took out his bokken before he whacked it in his palm.

“This killer intent… it almost matches with Orochimaru-sama’s!” Tayuya wondered in fear while she quivered in horror at what is going to come to her.

“Hissatsu… Ore hissatsu waza! (Finisher… My finisher attack!)” Ryuzaki growled. The bokken started to glow in a bright light that caused Tayuya’s eyes to widen in fear, “One Thousand Punishments!”

The screams could be heard as Ryuzaki delivered his punishment to Tayuya for deceiving him. When he was finally done, she is now sporting a very sore head as she rubbed it hoping to stop her head from hurting.

“Now that is over with,” Ryuzaki said as he dusted his bokken with his hand before he placed it on his back, “lets go find Naruto!”

“Why do I have to find that idio- SHING!” she didn’t get to finish her sentence when Ryuzaki held his Ryuken two inches from her neck.

“Say that again, and you’ll regret to insult him or me!” He threatened. He drew the sword a little closer to her throat, “Got it!?”

“H-H-Hai. (Y-Y-Yes.)” Tayuya managed to say.

Satisfied, Ryuzaki sheathed his sword back into its scabbard before he pulled Tayuya up from the ground.

“Let’s go.” He said as he transformed into SamuraiRyuOh, “After we find him, maybe you can go to a mission once with me or any shinobi during your probation.”

Ryuzaki leaped off towards Konoha as Tayuya stood for a moment before she went after him with a bit of contemplation on her mind.

YO! This is Axell! Nani? You didn’t hear that?

Various ninjas rush past each other through trees and as silhouettes of others went past the screen.

Fine! I’ll repeat that one more time! My name is Axel! It is awesome for me to fight!

One figure stopped in front of a village with a leaf symbol on the gate. The figure took out a hexagon before a key flipped out and a Japanese dragon coated in light flew out of it.

Now time for ‘Shinobi Ryu: Path of the Samurai!’! My finisher attack! FIRE VERSION!!

The dragon soared through the sky before stopping in the air with its body turning into the title while its head stayed the same. The dragon roared once more before the title vanished.

[Insert Madan Senki Ryukendo Opening]

Dareka ga nanika wo neratteru~ (Someone is being targeted.)

The scene shifted to a dark sky above a roaring sea in the Country of the Waves. A green silhouette of a figure roared by and stirred the waves even more while a yellow silhouette of another figure covered in electricity followed it.

Ijigen no tobira ga hiraku~ (A gate to another dimension is opening)

It then cut to a desert in the Country of the Wind as a brown silhouette of another figure running through the blistering winds. A red figure then burst out of the sand in a tower of flame and started to run with the brown figure.

Yami ni kakurete ugokidasu~ (Hiding in the darkness it’s moving…)

It then switched to the two figures from before landing beside a blue figure that is standing in front of the Village Hidden in the Sands. The blue figure took out a trident and rushed towards the screen with the others behind him with their weapons out as well.

Orokana negai~! (…foolish desire!)

It then changed to the person who held the key who is now standing between a white figure and a black figure. The camera zooms out to show they are standing in front of the Village Hidden in the Leaves before the person and the figures dashed toward the screen respectively.

GO! GO! Akirametari shinai~! (GO! GO! You can’t give up!)

The scene then shifted to a shining, roaring silhouette of a dragon flying through the skies with the green and yellow silhouettes from before, flying to the left, before the yellow silhouette went into a sonic boom.

GO! GO! Yuuki wo furi-shibore~! (GO! GO! Gather up that courage!)

It then shifted to the Village Hidden in the Leaves zooming in on the Hokage Monument showing the figure standing on the Fourth Hokage’s Head before he changed into SamuraiRyuOh.

Keshite mirai no jama wa sasenai~! (Don’t let anything get in the way of the future!)

A flash from SamuraiRyuOh’s Fire Elemental Orb morphed the scene to SamuraiRyuOh’s visor gleaming. The view slowly zoomed out as an aura begins to show around him as he clenched his right fist.

Atsuku moesakare GA GA GA GA~!! (Blazing hotly! GA GA GA GA!!)

It cut to reveal various images of the others, ready to attack. As ‘GA’ was shouted, the scene shifted to pairs of the Dragon Spirits with Ryuzaki with them. Axel and Ryuzaki were shown in the first. Tochi and Mizuro were shown in the second. Raichi and Ventus are noticed in the third. Ryusei and Zakiryu were then seen in the final frame.

Subete wo Kakete~! (Everything’s at stake!)

SamuraiRyuOh withdrew Ryuken, jumped off the Hokage Monument and rushed towards the screen.

Kibou no kagi ga kagayakeba~ (If the key of hope glows…)

The scene then changed to the red silhouette before it revealed itself to be Axel. The Camera zoomed out to show he is facing against Juugo in the Forest of Death as he tries to attack him in a berserk state, only to rear back from the roaring flames Axel is producing with his Flame Spinners.

Kiseki ga mai-oriru~! (…A miracle will occur!)

It then shifted to the green silhouette, which revealed it to be Ventus. The camera zoomed out to show he is facing off against Kabuto as the samurai uses his Gale Archer in Naginata mode before manipulating the wind to blow back Kabuto.

Kono mune no kodou DA DA DA DA~! (The beat in my heart goes DA DA DA DA!!)

It then cut to the yellow silhouette that then change to reveal Raichi, who is currently dancing to avoid Suigetsu's sword swings. He took out his Thunder Shooters and started to shoot away lightning at the swordsman while Suigetsu blocked the shots coming at him.

Araburu Tamashii~ (Wild soul)

It then changes to a rainy forest with the brown silhouette that then revealed to be Tochi. He is currently facing off against Kisame as they used their Mountain Striker and Samehada respectively to parry each other’s attacks. The scene then switched to the oceans with the blue silhouette, which then revealed to be Mizuro as he used his Wave Crasher against Team Oboro to drive them away from a boat filled with villagers.

Seigi no tsurugi wo kakagete~! (Hoist up the sword of justice!)

It then changed to the white and black figures on top of a hill. The figures where then revealed to be Ryusei and Zakiryu looking at the horizon with grim looks as silhouettes of the Akatsuki were seen in the darkened sky. The two looked at each other before nodding and flew off towards them with the group. As they took off, a silhouette of an Akatsuki member with purple, rippled eyes glowed maliciously.

Aku wo kiri-sakun da~! (Cut up the evil!)

The member mentioned in the last stanza released an energy wave at the group. It blew back everyone except SamuraiRyuOh as he blocked it with his Ryuken.

Madan Madan Madan Senki (Madan Madan Madan Chronicles)

It changed to Hikaru in the seal roaring as he poured his power into SamuraiRyuOh before the mentioned samurai’s visor glowed and charged at the figure.

Ryukendo~!

It then changed to show the entire group in the seal with Hikaru standing behind. SamuraiRyuOh stepped forward and reverted to his civilian self, revealing himself as Ryuzaki before he gave a thumbs-up to the audience.

[Insert Kamen Rider Decade: Drama No Arasuji]

Previously on Shinobi Ryu! Path of the Samurai!

The Light Dragon roared as it tried to get the person off its face by ramming its head towards the cage. But Ryuzaki was able to dodge that attempt, and jumped to the neck of the dragon. Thankfully, the armor that is covering him protected him from the sharp spines. In no time at all, it has become an all time rodeo match with the dragon being the bull!

“You mean you don’t know?” Ventus asked as he and the other Dragon Spirits tried to calm Axel, “Kid, this is your mindscape.”

“Samurai Henshin!” Ryuzaki announced as he tossed the sword into his right hand in a normal stance before swinging it forward, allowing a European dragon of pure energy to come out and soar into the air.

The dragon roared before it flew back down, encasing him in light. It then dissipated revealing Ryuzaki in the same armor he was in when he was in the mindscape, only this time the orbs are still there. He then sheathed the sword back in its scabbard.

“Even though she is evil, I still couldn’t help but feel bad for her. Not only that, but I want to save her from her darkness.” Ryuzaki discussed.

“Sir,” Shikamaru spoke up, “My answer is… that you have permission to take the girl with you. She won’t be detained, we’ll make sure of that.”

“Thank you, and please… call me SamuraiRyuOh in this form,” Ryuzaki said as he picked up Tayuya while the naginta went back to its bow form before attaching itself to Ryuzaki’s back.

“NO! WAIT! CAN I TELL YOU ABOUT THE DEAL I MADE WITH TAYUYA!?” Ryuzaki shouted in fear as he backed up in fright.

“Hey! What’s wrong with my hand?!” Ryuzaki exclaimed as his possessed hand took out the key displaying the warrior coming out of the ground.

“Dragon Spirit Key, ACTIVATE!” Axel roared as he jammed the key into the Ryuken.

“Summon: Dragon Spirits!” The Ryuken droned.

The elemental orbs flew out of Ryuzaki’s pockets before they crashed through the window, flew through different directions in Konoha. Ryuzaki rushed toward the shattered window in anxiety and shock.

“What in the world just happen?!?” The samurai demanded as he, Tsunade, Sakura, Shikamaru, and Naruto looked on in shock as the events took place in front of them. The Light Dragon inside just growled in annoyance as he laid his head down and went to sleep.

Things have just got even more complicated.

[Insert Naruto: Bad Situation]

“Of all the events that have taken place today, this has to be the worst of them all!” Ryuzaki shouted as he ruffled his hair in confusion, “How did this happen?! And if that key did what I think it did, then we are in serious trouble!”

“What do you mean by that?” Tsunade asked.

“Those orbs each contain a Dragon Spirit, a warrior that can use one of the Nature Transformations! Their personalities fit with the element they control!” Ryuzaki frantically explained as he paced in the hospital, “I have to go find them, before things could get crazy!”

He was about to rush out of the room, but Tsunade stopped him.

“Wait! If you are going to catch them, you’re going to need help. Kakashi, Kurenai, and Gai will accompany you along with me,” She said with precaution.

“While I appreciate the help, but this is something you, I, or any of this village has never experienced!!” Ryuzaki roared in frustration.

“That’s why I’m recommending them and me to help you! What more do you want!?” Tsunade reminded as she and Ryuzaki glared at each other.

Naruto, Sakura, and Shikamaru could only look in horror as the argument progressed. No one has ever argue against the Fifth Hokage and lived!

“Wait!” A voice shouted.

The arguing ceased like a fuse dipped in water, and the duo turned to see Tayuya standing by the door with a few seals hanging off of her.

“How did you get out of the sealing tags and chain- Oh! Right…” Ryuzaki started to ask, but then he remembered the Cursed Seal on Tayuya’s neck.

“You think a pile of scrap metal and worthless seals is going to keep me strap to a bed!?” Tayuya rhetorically asked with a smirk.

“Well… I- Errr…” Ryuzaki gulped, now he is having second thoughts on letting Tayuya join, but he quickly shook his head out of that thought, “Oh, all right! But you are going to get it for fooling me with that forlorn act you just pulled!”

Tayuya just smirked as she watched Ryuzaki transformed into SamuraiRyuOh.

“Come on! Let’s go capture those guys!” He shouted as he headed for the window.

“Yosh! I’m coming-!” Naruto started to say, but was immediately silenced by Ryuzaki’s glare, and with the visor glowing to increase its effect.

“NO! You stay here! You’re currently recovering from your injuries! You’ll get to meet them someday!” Ryuzaki assured as he jumped out the window with Tayuya and Tsunade following him.

Chapter Four: Hurry! Catch the Runaway Dragon Spirits!

Ryuzaki sprinted through the streets of Konoha with Tayuya, Tsunade, Gai, Kurenai, and Kakashi running with him.

“So, who are we looking for first?” Tayuya panted as he run.

“I suggest we should find Tochi! He may be silent, but if you say anything related to defeat, he’ll come after you!” Ryuzaki explained.

“What would happen if we say anything like that?” Kakashi wondered.

“Let’s just say it gets rather crazy,” The samurai summarized, “but not as crazy as someone boasting the flames of youth.”

“YOSH! The flames of youth burned within you as well!” Gai boasted, making Ryuzaki wince from the sudden intensity of the shout, “As long as you keep those flames burning, nothing will make you cry or lose! Ha! Ha!”

Ryuzaki skidded to a sudden halt and grabbed the others and ducked behind a pile of garbage cans.

“I wish you shouldn’t have said that,” he warned as he peeked out.

Guy looked at him with confusion, wondering what the samurai meant by that. But it soon came to him, when a brown blur tackled him with a shout of ‘NAKERU!’.

Tsunade, Kurenai, Kakashi, and Tayuya could only watch in bewilderment as what appears to be a dragon samurai with an axe sword on his back, pinning Guy to the ground with his foot.

“My strength… will make you cry!” Tochi boasted as he did a victory pose with his axe sword raised.

“I told you not to say that!” Ryuzaki rebuked Guy as he helped him off the ground, “Still, you did got one Dragon Spirit off our list.”

“Hmm? Oh Ryuzaki-san!” Tochi noted as he placed his axe sword on his back, “What happened?”

“No time to explain, we have to find the other six before things could get hairy!” Ryuzaki said and immediately sprinted towards a random direction with the others following him.

---------------------------Scene Change--------------------------

“Okay, so who’s next?” Kakashi asked as he and the others stopped in front of a playground.

“This is where we are going to need Tsunade’s help here,” Ryuzaki notified, “Because Raichi quite a playful guy yet dangerous at the same time!”

“How dangerous?” Kurenai asked.

“One wrong move, and you’ll be facing the worst temper tantrum you ever seen in your entire life.” Ryuzaki warned.

“Nee~! Nee~! Ryuzaki! What’s a tamtrum?” Raichi asked.

“Oh, it’s when someone- GAH! Raichi!” Ryuzaki yelped at the sudden appearance of the lightning dragon. He didn’t even notice him sneaking up from behind!

“I found him playing with the kids,” Ventus explained as he walked towards them, “He sure has a soft spot for them.”

“Ventus, thank goodness you’re here!” Ryuzaki sighed with relief, “Come on, and let’s go find the other four!”

“Right!/Right!”

---------------------------Scene Change--------------------------

[Insert Naruto: Afternoon in Konoha]

“Okay, let’s think everyone, if I were Axel, were would I go?” Ryuzaki hummed as he assumed a thinking pose.

“What are his characteristics?” Tsunade asked.

“Well, he’s sorta hot headed like Tayuya here,” Ryuzaki noted, getting from the mentioned girl as her veins throbbed on her head, “And he get’s insulted real easily.”

“Sounds like the equivalent of a street brawler,” Kakashi summed it up as he reads a familiar orange book, only for it to be snatched away by Ryuzaki.

“NEVER! EVER! READ! THIS BOOK! IN FRONT OF ME! GOT IT!?” Ryuzaki growled as he gave the book to Tsunade who placed it in her waistcoat.

Kakashi broke into a nervous sweat at the ferocity of the samurai as he glared at him through his helmet. It looks like he is going to get the beat down of his life, except two familiar chakrams struck the wall behind them.

“OI! OI! What’s going on here!?” Axel grumbled as he went over and pulled the chakrams out with relative ease.

“Axel, what a nice surprise,” Ryuzaki sarcastically said with a creepy smile, “I had a feeling it was you that pulled that stunt earlier!”

“Yeah! What are you going to do about it, Gecko?” Axel retorted.

[End Naruto: Afternoon in Konoha]

One could have heard a vibraslap echoing in the background as Ryuzaki’s head jerked a bit when he heard that. It then pointed to the ground shadowing the visor in void of darkness. No one can see it, but Ryuzaki is extremely angry from the insult; one that he suffered during his childhood.

“What did you say?!” He demanded in a low voice as a dangerous aura formed around him, making the other Dragon Spirits stepped back in fear. The ninja of the group however, were confused to what is going on that even Tayuya was curious to the sudden change.

“I said it once, and I’ll say it again. I called you a gecko!” Axel mocked, not noticing the danger he is putting himself into.

Ryuzaki clenched his fist angrily as flames erupted from it. He raised his visor to show a fire of ultimate rage where his eyes are supposed to be.

“NEVER! CALL! ME! A! GECKO!” He roared as he gave one powerful punch to the Fire Dragon Spirit’s face, sending him packing to the Hokage Monument. His screams were heard until he slammed into the rock below the Fourth Hokage’s face.

Ryuzaki pulled back his visibly smoking hand, and huffed as he grumbled all the way, ignoring the looks of amazement and horror from the ninja.

“Whoa, what a punch!” Guy exclaimed as he watched Axel fall from the dent he made. Kakashi on the other hand, was glad he didn’t receive that, otherwise it would have hurt!

“Serves him right for ticking off Ryuzaki,” Tsunade said.

“Remind me not to get him on his bad side!” Tayuya spoke to the others as they nodded in approval.

---------------------------Scene Change--------------------------

[Insert Naruto: Evening]

A moment later after Axel regrouped with the others with the Dragon Spirit sporting a black eye; the group has continued their search a little slower after that event and extended their search in the Third Training Ground. No can see it, but they could tell Ryuzaki is still mad at Axel.

“So, who are we looking for again?” Kakashi asked while maintaining a safe distance from Ryuzaki as they passed a lake

“We are looking for Mizuro,” Ryuzaki growled, “From what you told me, this is the only place to have a body of water.”

“What’s that have to do with him?” Tayuya inquired as she walked with the Dragon Spirits, after taking a liking in them.

“From what I saw, I guess he wants to stay cool,” Ryuzaki said in a calmer tone, before it immediately brightened when he points to their target, “And what better to stay cool than to fish?”

The group followed the line where the hand is pointing and sees Mizuro sitting on a rock with a bamboo fishing rod in his hands. The Water Dragon Spirit seems to have noticed them as he puts away his rod into his pocket space.

“Yo! Ryuzaki! I see you have found Axel, Raichi, Ventus, and Tochi,” Mizuro noted before he saw the black eye on Axel, “and what happened?”

“Don’t ask!” Ventus and Tochi simultaneously warned.

Mizuro (confused to what they meant by that) was about to ask why, when Ryusei and Zakiryu literally dropped in, with the latter holding a man with white hair and red markings on his face, while also wearing kabuki clothing and wooden sandals as well. Zakiryu also has him in a chokehold with the man’s face turning blue as he struggled.

“Hey Ryuzaki! Look who we found at the hot springs! Peeking on the wrong side!” Ryusei spoke while pointing towards the man with a sly smile.

“He just made a big mistake,” Zakiryu stated while he kept the man from getting away, “Isn’t that right… Jiraiya?”

[End Naruto: Evening]

[Insert Naruto: It’s the Training!]

“YOU!” Ryuzaki roared, as he pulled out the Dragon Blade and Ryuken, “Zakiryu release him! I got a few words to say to him and you can join in on the ‘conversation’. And Axel if you ‘talk to him’ with us, I’ll forgive you for that little stunt you just pulled.”

The Dragon Spirits seem to understand the hidden message quite clearly as they took out their weapons with malefic smirks on their faces. Zakiryu released Jiraiya letting him drop to the ground.

“Here I come!” Axel chuckled as he twirled his chakrams. Flames surrounded the blades, he spin in a circle before he stopped in a pose.

“Mind if I hurt you? Can’t hear you!” Raichi laughed as he took out a thunder theme rifle while cocking it. The electricity gathered at the barrel, charging to full power.

“My strength… will make you cry!” Tochi boasted as he draws his axe sword. He swung it in his hand in the air before slamming it to the ground, causing it to crack.

“Mind if I string you along?” Mizuro asked in a creepy tone while summoning a water themed trident as he whacked it in his hand.

“Fight! Toward the end!” Ventus called as he took out a wind themed bow with his left hand before he made a motion that an arrow of pure wind in his right hand. He pulled the arrow back and aimed it at Jiraiya.

“Ryusei’s the name, Light is my game!” Ryusei said and took out two blades with curved ends based on the light. He swung them around before stopping with them spread out.

“Behold the ultimate power!” Zakiryu growled. An orb of darkness appeared in his hand before he clenched it to form a dark themed and double edge scythe. He then let it rest on his shoulder as darkness formed in his hands.

Pale was the only expression that Jiraiya knows as the angry warriors skulked towards him. Suddenly he pointed in a random direction.

“Ah look! What’s that?! Someone is reading an Icha Icha book!” Jiraiya yelled.

“What?!/What?!” The Dragon Warriors yelled and immediately turned around to see… an empty space.

[End Naruto: It’s the Training!]

“Let me guess he duped us…” Ryuzaki flatly stated in a deadpan voice.

“He did.” Ventus confirmed as he looked behind and watched the Jiraiya-shaped dust cloud fade away into nothingness.

“He is going to receive the most brutal beating he’ll ever get!” Ryuzaki growled in fury while he gripped his swords in anger.

“Enough!” Zakiryu shouted, calming Ryuzaki down enough to sheathe his swords while the others dismissed their weapons, “That guy may have gotten away because we weren’t focus enough and got distracted easily!”

“Indeed- Hey, wait a minute!” Ryuzaki remembered, “That reminds me! Tayuya!”

The mentioned girl jumped a bit from being startled so easily. Tsunade, Guy, Kakashi, and Kurenai stepped to the side as Ryuzaki marched towards the red head while he dispelled his armor in a flash.

“Where were we now?” He smugly asked, as he pulled out his bokken from his back before he whacked it in his palm, but Tayuya wasn’t the least bit scared but rather smug.

“Come on, what happened to your pity?” Tayuya smirked.

“It faded away the moment you revealed your true se—” Ryuzaki’s voice rose as he continued to whack the bokken in his hands, ready to strike until…

“Lady Tsunade!!” A voice cried out.

Everyone’s present attention was then caught when a medic-nin leaped in.

“What’s wrong?” Tsunade asked, wondering what could be the matter.

“It’s Naruto! He snuck out of his room!” The medic-nin explained.

“What!? He did?!” The Hokage shouted while Ryuzaki got the Dragon Spirits to revert to their ‘Dragon Orb’ selves and immediately placed them in his pockets.

“That kid sure doesn’t know when to follow orders,” Ryuzaki commented in a low voice and walked past Tayuya, but not before giving her a quick whack on the head with his bokken, “You guys go on ahead and find Naruto, I need to speak with Tayuya for a second!”

Most of the ninja departed, leaving Tsunade with Ryuzaki and Tayuya.

“Are you sure?” Tsunade asked, “You know she is a genjutsu user.”

“But she can’t use them without this!” Ryuzaki held up a familiar flute, much to Tayuya’s shock as she reached with futile to get it back with Ryuzaki keeping it away from her, “I saw her about to use it, and I figured it was something important so I grabbed it when I was leaving with Shikamaru to Konoha! I also took the other half of the flute and managed to fix it with a little help.”

In truth, Ryuzaki was able to fix it with Axel’s flame and Ventus’s careful instruction.

He gave the flute to Tsunade who looked at it for a moment before she handed it over to Ryuzaki. He gave a questioning look to her.

“You keep it, you might have better luck in guarding it than me,” Tsunade explained.

[Insert Naruto: My Name Is Naruto!]

Ryuzaki eyed at her for a minute before he took the flute into his hands and placed it inside his vest.

“Very well, but what about my test to become a Konoha ninja?” Ryuzaki reminded, but his question was answered when Tsunade held out to him a forehead protector.

“After seeing you giving that red dragon what he deserved and warning us of Tochi’s temper, I say you deserve it!” Tsunade said with a small smile.

“Gee… Thanks!” Ryuzaki thanked with repressed excitement in his voice and quickly tied it to his forehead. He then breathed out to calm himself before he saluted calmly, “You better go find that knucklehead! I’ll catch up after I do something here!”

Tsunade nodded and leaped off, leaving Tayuya and Ryuzaki alone, with the latter’s face in a serious expression and himself in an aura of rage.

[Insert Naruto: It's the Training]

“Now then!” Ryuzaki growled in an animalistic voice as he turned around to reveal his eyes turned reptilian, “Where were we?!”

Tayuya could only stare in horror as Ryuzaki skulked towards her like a predator cornering a prey to a corner. She couldn’t even move because of the large killer intent that is radiating from the infuriated samurai as he took out his bokken before he whacked it in his palm.

“This killer intent… it almost matches with Orochimaru-sama’s!” Tayuya wondered in fear while she quivered in horror at what is going to come to her.

“Hissatsu… Ore hissatsu waza! (Finisher… My finisher attack!)” Ryuzaki growled. The bokken started to glow in a bright light that caused Tayuya’s eyes to widen in fear, “One Thousand Punishments!”

The screams could be heard as Ryuzaki delivered his punishment to Tayuya for deceiving him. When he was finally done, she is now sporting a very sore head as she rubbed it hoping to stop her head from hurting.

“Now that is over with,” Ryuzaki said as he dusted his bokken with his hand before he placed it on his back, “lets go find Naruto!”

“Why do I have to find that idio- SHING!” she didn’t get to finish her sentence when Ryuzaki held his Ryuken two inches from her neck.

“Say that again, and you’ll regret to insult him or me!” He threatened. He drew the sword a little closer to her throat, “Got it!?”

“H-H-Hai. (Y-Y-Yes.)” Tayuya managed to say.

Satisfied, Ryuzaki sheathed his sword back into its scabbard before he pulled Tayuya up from the ground.

“Let’s go.” He said as he transformed into SamuraiRyuOh, “After we find him, maybe you can go to a mission once with me or any shinobi during your probation.”
