I had to make a new pic of Arill, my last one 's starting to show it's age a tad.
Well, the pose may be a bit static but I'm really happy with the shading! I did some experimenting here too; each part of her (hair, skin, clothes, sword etc.) has different type of shading in it.
Also I decided to draw her serious side. This is actually the side Adult Arill normally shows
oh, and I've updated the designs on her gloves and boots.

I am so happy that you didn't edit the "slaughter face".
I like what you've done to the design pattern I did. Much more charcter
Though I feel, like I did with my own design, that it's not perfect for some reason
but I'm sure with some more tweaking in the future you'll achieve a perfect design.
I personally think that if she had a light blonde and not yellow hair color, she would be more pretty and elegant, as well as kick-ass

hehe, again, I can see your point. I suppose that's my cartoon-y look having really bright yellow hair. But she does suit the light haired look, I just haven't found the right palette for it yet

My favourite part is the blue lighting on her face/body though, a lot of people tend to forget that glowing objects tend to give faint lighting on the characters themselves, I'm glad that's not the case here! =3

Very nice! I love how you did the lighting from the glowing blue thing (Jewel of Neptune?) she's carrying, especially on the face! It seems so natural! I also really like that you used two tones of shading in some places, like her ear, hat, and sword! I'd love to see you use two tones through a whole picture! I'm not sure where exactly the light source is, though. Sometimes it's from the upper left, and sometimes from the left.
You are an amazing artist and you keep getting better and better!
