Background/Personality:

Amethyst Swirl is the daughter of Starlight Glimmer, Mud Briar, and Dr. Maud Pie. Amy never let anything get in her way of adventures: bullies picked on her because of her parents, school teachers berated her for loudly complaining about sitting in class, and other ponies scoffed at her for not acting “like a unicorn”. Regardless of any creature’s views, Amy always goes on daring adventures, exploring every corner of Equestria and beyond, sometimes accompanied by either her sister Chal or one of her many friends.

Amy looks like a damsel in distress, but she is anything but one of those story book princesses. In reality, Amy is a brash, stubborn, forward, and hot-headed unicorn who is never afraid of a challenge, whether said challenge is jumping into a canyon or telling a royal princess when she is wrong.

-Amethyst Swirl's cutie mark is a compass rose with two parallel swirls. The mark symbolizes Amy's talent in adventuring.
- Amy is quite tall and thin due to her rapid metabolism. Despite eating more food than a stallion, Amy cannot add on the pounds. Because of this, Amy is always cold, and will always have a sweater or cloak at the ready just in case.
- Amy LOVES Daring Do books and is a member of Rainbow Dash's Daring Do Book Club. Amy hopes to one day run into her idol while on an adventure.
- Although Amy fears pretty much nothing, she is not a huge fan of bugs (she has eaten them before though), especially those with multiple legs.
