Commissioned by here comes this K/DA group shot!The K/DA fiction Pop group is composed by: Ahri, Akali, Kai'sa and Evelynn.
The "Pop/star" music video (watch it here-> youtu.be/UOxkGD8qRB4 ) is a successful marketing campaign like the Vi Splash Screen song (do you remember it? Check it here -> youtu.be/18yK0G9hHts ), but the mix of K/Pop and Western Pop is so well made (not to mention the Live/AR K/DA live exhibition at LOL finals) that Youtube video views skyrocket to over 160 million views.
Not to mention the quality of animation and direction of the animation, made by Fortiche french studio.

Never bothered to know what or where any of them were from before I clicked on the music video link, though I kept seeing Akali everywhere. Thought it was a fighting game like Street Fighter.
I only noticed about half-way through the video that they were skins for LoL characters. I'm more of a HotS player, so I know jack-sh!t about LoL.

This led me to see the WORLDS 2018 Opening Ceremony where they did some motion-tracking in post-prod to make it look like the 3D characters were next to the singers. Pretty crazy stuff, when you think this is all about promoting skins for LoL.
Kinda wish Blizzard would try to raise the stakes with something like that too. They haven't done anything with their "Elite Tauren Chieftain" metal band in years, and they also have some pretty great songs, like the Jaina one they did for Battle for Azeroth ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fo7XPv… ).
Actually, that could be an awesomely fun artwork to do, imagining a pop-band like K/DA but with Jaina, Sylvanas, Kerrigan and Li-Ming (the D3 Sorceress). Uh. If I had money to spare, I'd make that commission.
