(Why are one-letter names so popular? Is it because of Death Note? Or were they always like this and I just didn't notice? IT'S A MYSTERY)

I still wondered why he is called 'N' most of the time. I mean, his name was forgotten, but they could have settled for something different than a single letter. But 'N' sounds totally fine, of course.

and about the one letter names, this one could be explain by the fact the pronunciation in french of the letter "N" sounds the same as the word Hatred
