This cutie was comissioned by - I really hope youΒ΄ll like it!
The cello I made for was a challenge, but this -
I donΒ΄t know why, but it took me four times to get it sculpted O.o I played the E-Bass myself, so I was eager to sculpt this
The hardest part were the strings - before I baked the clay I made small holes to set the strings in. Those are simple thin silver wire. The bass is sculpted from polymerclay and painted with Citadel-Colors and is sealed with a thick glossy coat of varnish.

Ok....tell the truth Darlin'... you've got a shrink-ray-gun hidden somewhere, and that started out as a real, full size, E-Bass!
Seriously though, lovely work! Your ability to do fine detail work is amazing, and I agree withΒ , this is by far superior to the miniatures one can buy in the stores these days!
