You know it'll be real disappointing (both for many fans and myself) if at the end of the actual movie they don't end up dating. What with the movie having not been released yet.
Still, I love this ship. I'm even working some pencil art on a sheet of paper. (It's a way too saucy for some people though.)

It's HEAVILY IMPLIED at the end of the movie that they do have a thing for each other, or at the very least that they started dating.
The idea of cross species relationships may make a pretty good plot for a second movie, if they make one. But considering it's PG, I doubt it. Kids don't likeΒ watching all that "lovey dovey" stuff.

Well if they don't focus too much about Nick and Judy fawning over each other and more about them solving cases and dealing justice, it'll be okay for the second movie. Also it will be funny if they get into an awkward situation one or two times and some flirty jokes ensue.

Oh yeah, definitely. I can totally see a sceneΒ where Nick is trying to act all cool and collected, then Judy does something like give him a peck on the cheek. Then he immediately ends up into a stammering, babbling, and throughout embarrassed mess.

For me it's more like: They're being chased by bad guys, they end up having to crawl into a ventilation duct, but they get a little too close against each other from how narrow it is.
