Description
Freehand Painting in Painter after a photography by ~symons-stock which is of course much more beautiful than my digipainting.The picture was used as a reference, but not over painted.
Original size is 4500px*3000px.
It's kind of a revival of my old Bob Ross styled paintings (like [link] )

Oo, just gorgeous! I hunted down the stock you used, and am pleased to see you did not let it totally dictate the painting.
But yes, it's really beautiful, you did a great job on it. Definitely can see growth from your last paintings. Blending and motion are all well done. It's really quite hypnotizing to stare at. the lighter colors at the top , strong oranges in the middle and blacks near the bottom really give the sky depth.
Not really an image to be picked at, though, so I cannot offer much in suggestions. Only, you could try blending the blacks in a little more. In the picture, they're trees or something so the shape is more solid. But since you've done it with a different angle I think it'd ought meld more into the rest.
Also, your strokes are a little more horizontal than the clouds are in the photo. Not bad, it adds a kind of menacing motion to the image. but, if you were not going for that try to use more circular motions with the brush. I think. Skies are so hard.

die sonne scheint zwar wie von unserer welt, jedoch wirken die wolken und der himmel sehr außerirdisch !
irgendwie eine kombination aus dark und warm..

danke. mit den Wolken hast Du recht. Irgendwie schauen die nicht "echt" aus. Das außerirdisch übernehm ich da gerne als Erklärung
