-In this AU it's based on the idea of the rainboom having negative effects instead of positive ones, heavily inspired by the idea of the episode what my cutie mark is telling me, this is also a revamp of her first design!-

Luna is the brawn between the two royal sisters. She is extremely strong physically and magically. Due to this she tends to help whenever Equestria is under conflict. Always adorning her armour just in case something breaks out. She is quite confident and loves being the head of the Royal Guard. She often works along side shining armour, a stallion who is desperate for her position. Often she finds herself having to punish or put this guard on sanction. Due to his aggressive nature he often is made to work along side Luna. Mostly since she wants to keep an eye on him. That or she appoints him to be his sisters personal guard.

She began fighting during Sombra first attack. Celestia got badly hurt and no one else was strong enough to go up against him. So against everything her sister was saying she joined in on the fight against sombra. This is how she learnt how strong she was, especially when the pony's she loved where in danger. Soon after this Celestia suggested that she took over the royal guard, which Luna was excited to accept. The only negative effect being that she often can't go into the dreamscape to help the pony's of Equestria.
