Hi, I'd like to buy a digital copy I can use to illustrate an academic book. How can I do that, please?

Hi! Thanks for showing this photo. I was looking for stories about what happened in Hanoi, since I wrote a dissertation on the Icmesa disaster in Seveso. On 10 July 1976 in Icmesa, a small chemical manufacturing plant property of Givaudan and La Roche, approximately 20 kilometres north of Milan, a failure occurred. It resulted in the highest known exposure to 2,3,7,8 Tetrachlorodibenzoparadioxin (TCDD) in residential populations, which gave rise to numerous scientific studies and standardized industrial safety regulations. The EU industrial safety regulations are known as the Seveso III Directive.
Italian Government required many researches, and in some done by U.S. scientists, I often found comparison with Hanoi.
Unfortunately, Icmesa never told us the real use of trichlorophenol, since it can be an intermediate of many things, from exachlorophene to trichlorophenoxiacetic acid (Agent Orange)... but since U.S. get involved and tried to stole what remained of dioxin...

I love this photo. The defeat of the father is captured magnificently....as is his child's energy. Agent orange sucks. I know from personal experience.

Well... the USA and Canada also used the same agent on their own people. It sucks. Like with the nuclear radiation people still suffer from in Japan... I wish I could say something that would make all the 'bad' go away. I can't. This is a moving picture; and, I am sorry for all the hardships suffered by this man, his son, and all others who have been affected by warfare. It's just sad. Sadder still that the lessons to be learned have probably gone unheeded.

My father was a soldier in the Vietnam, for the United States. Because of Agent Orange he had prostate cancer, skin cancer, diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, I could go on but I am sure you get the idea. He died six years ago at the age of fifty-seven. The government poisoned him, his own government, the one he went to war for. It took twenty-five years to finally get some sort of compensation for his suffering; but he was already dead.

Polychlorinated dibenzodioxins (TCDD type) also nicknamed Agent Orange, was a powerful chemical weapon in Korea n Vietnam Wars. Hundreds thousands of people had been died and millions more affected by it.
Just I never understand wars, chemicals, boat people, terrorists, child soldiers...all spin around me when I saw this pic, which brought me back to me was once a soldier.
