A Rhode Island Red rooster we were given from a very kind person. She said it would be okay if we slaughtered him (and we did end up culling because we can't afford to feed more roosters 0,-o)- but said that she didn't want to be there when it happened :,) He tasted good though, and the very kind person laughed up a storm when we mentioned the soup pot x>
