Garon
I arrived at the house then started researching who this guy was. I found his name was Zachary Brown, he was 6' 5", and lived with his mom. This shouldn't be too hard. I set up a small tent and waited for the transformation.

At about 12:00 A.M. I woke. The transformation was happening, but why now? I flew up to the nearest tree by his window, transformed, and watched. I saw him fall on his hands and knees as wings started coming out of his back. After they finished coming out I called his phone by magic. After a short pause, he answered.

"Hello?" he said.
"HI. Umm…" How should I put this? "Uhh…" I better just face him. "Wait a moment." I hung up and transported into his room. "Ok, sorry about-" Right then he punched me in the face. Fortunately I was able to harden my skin to scale hardness to soften the hit.

"Well that hurt," I said, "at least I was prepared." I started looking him over and making comments to myself about what his dragon form would look like. "Hmmm… I'd say red with some blue here and there. Gold claws and spikes. Hmmm…" Then I noticed a marking on his arm and asked him "Have you always had that tattoo?"
"What tattoo?" He asked.
"That one on your shoulder." He looked very surprised to see it there.

Then I noticed he didn't look like he was in any more pain. "Odd, very odd…" I murmured to myself.
"What is?" He asked.
"It seems the changes have stopped. Do you feel any pain or burning sensation?"
"No, only when these came out." he said, gesturing to his wings, "And what's your name?"
"Hmmm… What? Oh, my name's Garon."
"My name is Zachary, but everyone calls me Zach."

"Well I have to go now." I said, "Try to hide the wings under a shirt. If you need anything just call."
"Ok then, but what if I need to find you?" He asked.
"Just look out your window." I answered before transporting to the edge of the forest. I waited until Zach was looking out his window to cast a sleeping spell on him, transforming, and heading back to my camp.

The next day I woke up still thinking about Zach. I ate breakfast, then started pacing back and forth, pondering about why his transformation was so slow. I decided to pack up my camp and MM Garillion about the strangeness that was Zach. I was about to leave when I heard Zach behind me. I turned around to meet him inside the clearing.

As I stepped into the clearing, Zach yelped, "Holy shit!" and started scrambling to get away from me.
"Zach wait!" I called.
"How do you- Oh." I had cut his question short by going to human form. "How did you do that?" He asked.
"I'm part-dragon part-human." I responded.
"Ah, so I'm turning into a dragon?"
"Yes, but very slowly. Which is unusual."
"Really?"
"Yes…" At that moment, Garillion MMed me back and told me to meet him in his office. "Umm… I have to go. I'll be back in a moment."
"Oh… Bye then." I transported to Garillion's office, wondering what he had found out.

"Hello, Garon." Garillion said as I appeared, "I think I found why Zach's Transformation is going so slowly."
"Really? Why is it then?"
"He must have been the descendant of one of the Elder dragons. They are dragons that, Err, used dark magic. They are mostly powerful and evil. All of them had markings on their body based on their ranking or lineage."
"So what did the markings on Zach mean?"
"There was only one Elder dragon I know that has that mark, Darox the Elder King. That means we're lucky you could detect him. He could possibly be Darox's son. Other Eld dragons could also know about him, so be careful."
"Ok, thanks. I'd better get back there then. Bye." As I transported back, I hoped that no Elder dragons found him while I was gone.

As I arrived, I heard something flying above me. I looked up and saw Zach overhead, then suddenly turn back towards his house. He shouldn't be doing that! I took off after him so I could try to get him on the ground before he hurt himself and/or anyone noticed him. As I cleared the tops of the trees, I flew straight towards Zach. I was almost upon him when he gave a violent jerk and dropped out of the sky. It was so sudden, that I couldn't catch him in time before he crashed in the back of a pickup, his mom's pickup. Great, this means I have more explaining to do…
