HISTORY:
  Moro's story begins in a fairly rural region somewhere between the heart of Nohr and the Wolfskin village. She would have a relatively normal life where her mother would support their small household and her father would join the ranks of the Nohrian Army. Moro never grew close to either parent - in fact she was always a quiet, solitary child; comfortable in her own company, never asking for much while satisfied with the things she had. She would grow where she was planted.
Life would go on for Moro, simple and easy, until one night when their home, and many others in their little community, were raided by the Wolfskin. Her mother was crippled in a battle with one of them - the villager woman not standing a chance against the fierce Wolfskin who would spare her life. Moro's life was rerooted with the role between mother and daughter switching in just one night. It was now Moro's responsibility to support their now desolate home. They had to start over. Things were difficult for many years - they were barely able to stay afloat while her mother's condition grew progressively worse over the years.
  Moro, over the time that had passed, had come to learn of a band of thieves running amok and hiding from the Nohrian populous - ideas being planted in her mind though she wouldn't follow through for a while. She grew, still struggling to support both herself and her mother with no help from her father whom she'd grown to resent for not returning as often as he should. The girl felt alone in this battle with life, and wondered what she must have done to have to repay such a Karmic debt.
Eventually Moro found a friend, someone who could support her for a few years to come. But she wanted to know why he was so sweet to her, and so giving. It was such a rare occurance - she wanted to know why. But more than that she wanted to know how. While the boy wouldn't show her everything he had, he showed and gave Moro enough to spoil her. She grew greedy and wanted it all to her mother and herself. Moro demanded that the boy show her where or how he was obtaining all of these riches, but he refused. Moro knew that if she didn't find out soon, she would never know. She begged he boy to teach her and he would eventually give in. He introduced her to the group of thieves she had always wondered about, warning her of the consequences that would come with joining their ranks. She didn't care, all Moro saw was an opportunity. She wanted to be able to do more than just support herself and her mother - Moro wanted them to know what it was like to live well. She would join them in the art of thievery. Moro was smart and crafty - she fit in easily. She saw this as merely a step to have everything she wanted, and when her Mother asked her what she was doing everytime she left home at night, Moro had to keep it a secret. She formulated a web of lies around her mother's questions, but she fell deeper and deeper into this illusion that was growing more and more difficult to keep up. But the grew close.
Soon, one night came where Moro was caught and turned in, her face now well known as a crook. At first Moro accepted this, and decided to just make it easy and be put in prison, but thoughts of her mother kept running through her mind, and Moro fought her captors. She lost, not tired and beaten but still trying. She changed her approach, and was making a deal to the knight who held her captive while they decided her fate. She promised to atone for her sins by joining the Nohrian Army. She'd serve as long as they wanted her to as long as she could still support her mother. Her offer, for the moment, was declined and she was put into holding while awaiting her trial and prosecution. Weeks passed and she would keep bringing the offer up to the Guard - one that also frequently served under Nohrian royalty. Eventually she began to beg for release, to see her mother again, to repent for her sins and make up for her mistakes. The girl went through many motions, anger, despair, hope, etcetera.
Finally, the eve of her projected trial date, and the same Guard she had bothered for weeks to months at a time about this offer (the sole thing keeping her going) gave her news. She was allowed to go home under escort and tell her mother of this new contract.
      "I'm joining the Army. Please don't cry. He'll take care of you."
  "When will you come home?"
      "I love you, mother."
With that Moro would follow in her fathers footsteps. New goals and wishes running through her mind, but one stood above all. She was prepared.
