My Havel the Rock cosplay from Dark Souls debuted Tekkoshocon 2013. A solid month of labor and love is what this cosplay provided me with. The cosplay weighs a total of about 40 pounds with the entire chainmail shirt and chainmail gloves with it. This has to be my all time favorite cosplay so far and I love to wear it, even though I lose all mobility and use of my hands; it is totally worth it.Related content

No it's actually made out of EVA foam c:

Yep! Chainmail gloves, shirt and then everything else. The chains are plastic but that stuff really starts to add up and get really heavy.

Hello, that's an awesome craft indeed! I'm working in Havel's armor too, i wanted to ask, how did you make the dragon tooth? I've been looking for a lot of places for ideas, but i think it's better to ask someone that actualy crafted the club.

Well the club originally started as a pvc pipe that I bent with a heat gun, connected cardboard to and then covered it with expanding foam. After that carve down the foam to the shape you want. The cover it with newspaper paper mache and then cover the whole thing with the paper mache you add water to that you buy at the store. This probably wasn't the best way and it does crack, but it has done it's job and has held up fairly ok. I hope this helped some c:

It's 40 pounds not including the dragon club. The club is to terribly heavy but it is so cumbersome it's unbelievable
