First off, these eyes are absolutely amazing! I had to literally tell myself to stop staring solely at them, as so I could examine the beauty of this piece in its entirety.

Secondly, *for anyone reading or viewing this*, the thumbnail does not do the artwork justice as it is such an extremely detailed drawing uploaded with a very high resolution. I very much recommend you click the image to enlarge, so as to succumb to the full effect & much more vastly intricate vantage.

Your shading on this piece is especially superb! I can tell a lot of work & time went into this, & assure you, it was not in vain! You've definitely succeeded in adding a great deal of depth to the majority of the hair, but I do feel as if you somewhat neglected the upper region just a bit; with that being said, I really, like your depiction of such luscious hair from below that point.
There are only two main concerns/issues, I truly have with the hair, (the majority of which, residing within the aforementioned upper region.)

- The first being, when you were rendering this piece I feel as if you lightly neglected to properly account for the lighting angle(s) from one singularly particular point of observation. It's not really a huge deal, but it's one of those little pet peeve's that effects the total prospective realism for me; and since you had mentioned you want to get to the level where you first look at your drawings and think it is an actual picture, I thought I'd mention it.

- The second being, I vaguely wish you would have been just a tad bit more concise with your usage of contrast within the hair, (within the top section of the hair, especially.) I believe a more thoroughly contrasted relation between whites (the absence of graphite entirely) & blacks (darker hues of graphite generated by more applied pressure) here & there, could've greatly enhanced the final outcome, (again, mostly just the upper part.)

All in all, this piece is absolutely gorgeous, and you should be extremely proud! I really like the addition of the mole/freckle as well. I am already impatiently awaiting your next masterpiece!

Thank you so much!! it means a lot to me that you like it and even more that you can show me my shortcomings. That's what i mean about the hair; it takes me so long to do and i think that i just get burned out on it or something. Thank you very much for all your help and guidance!!!Β Β

No problem at all! Do remember though, these are just my personal opinions, from my personal perspective, & should be taken with a grain of salt, so to speak; contort them, mold them, bend them, to possibly aid in the development of your own personal style. I will definitely agree with you that it looks as if you spent so much time and work on this piece you eventually got 'burned out'; don't worry though this happens to nearly everyone. My personal preference to avoid such, is to have several pieces of artworks in variety of different stages, as so I can 'jump' to whatever piece I feel most like working on at that particular moment in time. Then after an appropriate respite, I feel refreshed, renewed, and very much eager, to get back to it. You are welcome my friend! Ask and ye shall receive! Have a great day!

It's really very gorgeous. The only thing I'd say is the eyes seem to be faced, ever so slightly, in opposite direction. Also, and this could be that I'm just so used to seeing more cartoon drawings, but I think the lips are...odd. I'm not sure if they're up to high, or too small, but the placement seems odd for some reason. It draws my eyes to them, but not in a way that's necessarily good. Did you use a reference for your picture? If you did, I'd love to see it, just so I can compare.
