Hi,
The characters look really great and they express a lot of emotion, especially considering the pixel style. I am especially impressed at how the shading on the faces really gives them a sense of depth and makes them much, much less 2D than they would look otherwise.
The variations in colour are lovely, I especially like the back middle character who has a lush, deep purple.
If I had to make a small improvement I would say that the characters could be arranged a little bit further away from each other, so that some of the finer details and overall silhouettes are not lost. Alternatively, if you are going to overlap them perhaps arrange them more organically as if they were all stood somewhere - like they were posing for a picture.
I hope you think this is fair. I really like the characters you've done.
