Description Lionheart : Most bad-ass Luna Guard I've ever seen (Well not that I really saw one of those but you know what I mean)

Why does every Canterlot Ghouls has to be so awesome XD

Over 200 years he keeps his loyal and fidelity... If Steel Hooves gone little mad, this is what he could be like.

The part when he took over entire ship by himself(with that mouse-shape dragon) and crash into other ship? That was most epic scene in entire FO:E

Overall... Yeah kinda remind me this guy : www.youtube.com/watch?v=OglgMv…

cleansed-in-fire aaaaawwwww yeeeeaaahhhh

OK So I finished reading FO:E and what would you suggest me to read next?

Project Horizon - That character BlackJack seems very interesting to me. Probably full of blood boiling action fight

Pink Eyes - Journey throw wasteland to find own mother... cliche but sounds promising

Snowdrop - After reading the plot and that cover art, I think I'm already crying. I mean blind pegasus filly in fucked up wasteland? Damn.

Project Horizon sucks and you shouldn't read it. Pink Eyes is much better, and not as cliche as it might seem.

Wow, that's freaking cool. Love Mouse just hanging out in Lionheart's armour looking badass.

As for fanfics, Project Horizons and Pink Eyes are both great stories. Haven't heard of Snowdrop, so I can't have any input on that.

Project Horizons has really great characters, particularly Blackjack (despite all the angsty wangsty crap later on), and Hoofington is such a fleshed out and generally cool place, but a lot of the pre-war and exposition stuff it goes into really rubs me (and a fair few other readers) the wrong way. Most of it just seems a lot like Somber saying "look at how important my OCs are, guys". May sound a bit hypocritical, seeing as the original is all OCs too, but that's the only way I can really describe it. Particularly a fellow called Goldenblood. It seems like his main reason for existing is to be the person behind literally everything important that happens pre-apocalypse in Fallout: Equestria. (Might delve into a slight spoiler for Project Horizons here, but this bit just outright goes against what happened in Fo:E, so I really don't recognize it's existence in the first place) For example, there's one memory orb that shows Goldenblood wiping Twilight's mind of all the work she did on Gardens of Equestria, and then is never really used in the plot again. Seeing as Twilight says in that Maripony recording that there's still hope as long as someone finds Spike, who's guarding Gardens, I don't buy it. That's probably the biggest break in canon in PH, but there's a whole lot more instances of Goldenblood saying, in essence, "lol that stuff that *X Ministry Mare* did? That was me" and things like that. But whenever there's a bit of exposition that seems off, I've just found it easier to ignore it and keep reading, because aside from a couple breakings of Fo:E canon, it's still a really great story.

Pink Eyes is a helluva lot different to PH and Fo:E, but in a good way. There's a whole lot of comedy, not as much violence (though that may be only because it's pretty short for a Fallout: Equestria fic and I suppose that the main character is indestructible) and has a surprising amount of feels, especially at the end. I finished Pink Eyes while on a road trip with my family, and I just straight up burst into tears in front of them once I read the final words. Then I was left alone with my thoughts for the rest of the trip, so some spontaneous after-tears were also shed. That's how powerful it was. Despite a fair few spelling and grammatical mistakes, which is actually pretty impressive given that English is the author's second language, and the story being only 130k words (about a tenth of the size of Horizons), I'd say that Pink Eyes would be one of the best stories I've ever read, right behind the original.

So yeah. Read em both.

I'm reading part 43, and I starting to wonder what the hell is Project horizons. I like big, long plot that make me feel deeeeep in the stroy, though. XD

"It's the Demon!"

"He's everywhere!"

"He got leader! RUN!"

AS for which story to try next, I don't really have anything to add to what's already been said. I really enjoyed Project Horizons, but oh sweet motherbucking Celestia is it dark. Every time I thought things couldn't possibly get worse, it proved me wrong in the most horrifying way possible.

Lionheart and Mouse were so badass They really deserved to be shown more! But that´s what fanart like this is for

For your question on what to read next:
- Project Horizon: (Summary: really sad; brutal; psychological depth; story-length and worldbuilding=huge )
If you know max payne (what I think you do according to your link) then you´ll see some really good similarities between him and blackjack. The story is a lot deeper than the classic FoE and explains the background of all the different things that happened in the past and that that were actually left untold/unclear.
Also it gets way more brutal .... and I really mean BRUTAL - if you think the characters of classic FoE were in a pretty bad state most of the time then you´ll be surprised to see how blackjack and co can top that.
The pacing of the story gets pretty slow later on but it´s not a bad thing - It never seems to get boring (for me at least ) and even some parts that seem to repeat itself are presented pretty good.
And prepare yourself for lots of sexual jokes and topics the more the story goes on. It´s the only thing that was bugging me to some extend. But well ... It´s an important part of the story and it depends on the reader.
The action and the awesome characters make up for that easily though. I can only recommend reading this story next (It´s about to be finished around the end of the year so it´s a good time to start ). Also i´m not sure if it´s true but PH seems to be the largest existing mlp fanfiction of all and it´s not even finished yet.
And on a sidenote: Even if the main characters seem to be rather dislikable at first, just read on. They get a lot better over time. Just one word for the main group later on: BADASS.

- Pink Eyes: (Summary: funny; straightforward story; random; sad)
The writing style of this story is a lot different from most (all?) other FoE fanfics I know.
It´s that extreme contrast between the main-character´s innocence and the harsh environment that makes it unique. The overall tone is a mix of lighthearted and somewhat sad situations which results in rather funny scenes.
(Due to the main character being an indestructible filly that is absolutely oblivious of 95% of everything that happens.) You shouldn´t expect much story complexity. It´s mostly one destination each 1-2 chapters and so on. I´d say it´s more about the random situations and the references than the story as a whole. The ending is ..... wow ...... I finished reading Pink Eyes some time ago and that really made me remember it as a good fic. Many people hate this story because the main character´s behaviour is kinda unrealistic. But if you can ignore that, the fic as a whole is worth the read.

I haven´t heard anything about Snowfall yet so I guess someone else should say sth about that ;D

Just my two cents here

More sexualjokes and gore. Just what I missed in FO:E

That is so perfect

As for suggestions for which fic you might want to read next, I can certainly recommend both Project Horizons and Pink Eyes (I haven't had a chance to read Snowfall yet so I won't say anything about that one).  PH is an awesome story with equally awesome characters, just be warned that if you thought FoE had some dark scenes, PH manages to top most of these scenes within the first 5 chapters!  Its also roughly twice the length of FoE, so you'd better have a lot of free time.

On the other hand, Pink Eyes has a much more comedic take on the Equestrian Wasteland, even if it does have it's darker moments, and is definitely worth your time in my opinion.

That is one Kickass Lionheart you got there!

Also a pro-tip for anyone who hasn't read up to this point yet:  See that cute little mouse?  She's the one you really need to be afraid of!
