I like the design but I do not think it would be functional in reality.
in addition with the new AR-15/M16 60round and 100round magazines from Surefire (magpul sooner or later) this would have some competition.

The P90 according to my research has magazine issues.
That being aside the 6.8x43mm (6.8 SPC) is a rifle cartage, the 5.7x28mm is a pistol/carbine cartage
6.8x43mm OAL = 2.315 in (58.80 mm)
5.7x28mm OAL = 1.594 in (40.50 mm)
That is a difference of 145% when scaling the 5.7x28mm to 6.8x43mm it can be done but issues will show up very fast.
I have looked and I have only seen the horizontal to vertical conversion in pistol cartrages

ar-16 is a long weapon with a ratherly short barrel. when bullpup the barrel is longer (more accuracy less recoil) and 6.8 is a more powerful round than the 5.56 round

There is an IFFY concept.
Barrel harmonics and trigger pull affect accuracy. In fact bullpup weapons real strength is their size and balance.
I have read that all ammunition is more accurate with a specific barrel length, for instance you can achieve the maximum accuracy with a 16" barrel while a 20" barrel has reduced accuracy with ammunition. Barrel harmonics do not affect accuracy dramatically but you can notice on the high end a 1moa increase due to barrel harmonics, if memory serves me. A longer barrel is intended to be used for increased range and higher kinetic energy.
Bullpup trigger pull is notorious for being 'mushy' and therefore affect accuracy, Very few bullpup rifles have good trigger systems.
As a result for maximum compact ability and balance you should go to a bullpup. For maximum accuracy (negating human inconsistency) conventional rifles shine.

It's an assault rifle concept, but anyway yes, the 6,8 makes it a wider weapon than the smg counterpart

The weapon looks cool, but wouldn't it be rather wide and bulky with 6.8mmSPC? The magazine would be as wide as a STANAG mag. consequently at least the upper section of the weapon has to be as wide.
That's the conclusion I reached with a hybrid Steyr ACR/FN P90 design of my own, so I abandoned the P90 part of it....
What is the mechanism on this baby? Delayed blowback? If so, is it more like the FA MAS lever-delayed or G3 roller-delayed bolt?

I really love this, I especially like how you removed the forward grip and replaced it with a rail system. Really sweet. Would love to see how this looks with a Surefire M900A! I also really like how you styled the rear handgrip into more of an Armalite style grip.
Well done!

Well you executed it well! Any idea how much wider it would be? I'm wondering what cartridge you had in mind.
