I think if you're going to be experimenting more with the watercolor, then I say stick with the consistent line weight and let the colors do the heavy lifting.

nothing quite like the first time out.
Now that it's dried, just you wait...you'll bust it out and start adding a little heavier darks to one side and then the spell will be cast and you'll be hooked.
