This was a cover I did a few years ago with Tony Harris. We worked together on several covers and interior projects. We would both do a sketch and then pass it back and forth until we had a concept we both liked (or both didn't hate) and then continue that through the rest of the process of pencilling, inking, and colors. It was time consuming and at time very frustrating but we were able to come up with work we were both proud of. Tony recently included this and the other 2 Iron Man covers we did in his new art book. The back ground on the interior of Iron Man's mask was created in 3-D by my pal Michael Stribling.It's funny now, but Tony and I got in a pretty heated argument over the brown border around the piece. We had done it at the wrong size and I wanted to just make the mask bigger. Tony wanted to slap the border around it and call it a day. We fought for at least and hour to the point that Tony's wife had to come in and yell at us like two kids fighting over who's stronger, Hulk or Superman.

You guys made a great team, but I and a lot of other artists were glad to see you strike out on your own. These were some nice pieces though.
