No problem!! It's always a nice feeling when someone likes what you do. On days when I'm having a hard time at the drawing table it's a boost to flagging confidence.

The checks mean nothing if the drawings look like crap. When I do bad work I get really depressed. The money doesn't solve that.

You're right of course. Believe me I have definitely fallen flat on my face with more than a couple clients because the concepts and ideas I came up with just weren't up to my normal standards. Those are the instances where i am left apologizing. Be it due to lack of time, sleep, inspiration, or artistic ability and knowledge(most likely the last two). But it also drives me to do that much better on the next assignment and step up my game. I TRY to use my dissapointment in my results to fuel my drive to do better and better. But more often than not it just makes me doubt and step on what small bit of ego I allow myself to manifest. I'm like you in the sense that I am extremely hard on myself when it comes to my art. Which I think good artists should be it makes us keep getting better and growing.

I fav'ed so much of yor work because it happens to be a component of that fuel for me. Running across artists like you, who show me different and inspired ways to interpret the mediums I work in, helps stimulate me and keep me going when I'm working under deadline late at night!! So I thank you again for that and anything that I can do that keeps you inspired and not depressed, i will definitely do!!
