Despite all the comments, I don't really see Scourge being a pedo in this pic... I think even HE has his standards... albeit not many, that sort of thing would be one. Yeah, I can see him doing something as dastardly as kidnapping Cream, but instead of acting like a pedo, I kinda see this situation as a sort of mock attempt to comfort her or make her feel a bit calmer. Cream knows she's in danger and Scourge realizes this, and him acting "nice" is just his way of mocking her for being scared. Its a power play, establishing control of a situation more than anything, and THAT fits more into Scourge's character.

I'll tell you why Mighty and Cream were drawn for each other: Mighty is more of a lover than a fighter and Cream is obsessed with being good-mannered and ladylike.Β
Also, I think Mighty and Scourge would be bitter enemies because Mighty is a peacemaker and Scourge is an anarchist who takes everything personally and brutally tortures or executes innocent ones who don't let him have his way.

Well I did.Β I imagine little Cream being so lost, alone, lonely, scared and vulnerable in the rain and/or in the dark when Mighty walks up to her, takes her in his strong arms and cradles her while he sings her a lullaby.Β Or suppose Cream is surrounded by bad-boy thugs (among them is Scourge, no surprise) who are about to kidnap, rape and/or murder her when Mighty kicks their tails and saves her life.Β Or how about an action scene parodying Amazing Spider-Man #121 (The Night Gwen Stacy Died)?Β Either way, it sounds romantic for Cream to be the damsel in distress and Mighty to be her knight in shining armor.

Imagine that - Scourge kidnapping Cream and taking her as his bride.Β Coincidentally, an idea for a supernatural anime chick flick, manga graphic novel or play/musical popped into my brain:
A lovely princess is about to marry her rich, handsome fiance when a demonic joker kidnaps her on her wedding day by order of the wicked king (or prince, or wizard) of the underworld (or dark forest), who is smitten with the princess.Β The joker himself falls in love with his captive and wants to take her for himself because he is tired of his master treating him like lower class.Β She, too, sees the good in him and begs him to let her go and reunite her with her groom-to-be if he really loves her.Β The evil king (or prince, or wizard) is furious that he demands the joker to be executed for treason.Β Before he and the princess bid each other goodbye, he returns her to the world above and even saves her kingdom from the fire of his master's wrath.Β But the princess is the true heroine because she learns a lesson about courage and perseverance that makes her dreams of freedom and marriage to her true love to become real.
Touching, huh?Β It's like a mix of "The Phantom of the Opera", "Percy Jackson & the Olympians", and the Twilight saga.Β Seeing a Facebook photo of my friend C.J. (a charming 21-year-old young man, of course) in an "evil jester" costume and being a "princess bride" for Halloween inspired me to think of the story plot.
