Hadn't had a good drawing session in a few months here, so I thought before I tackled some.. uh, fanart apparently, I would first need to get all unrusted with a nice page full of doodles and angry faces.All that good stuff.
It wasn't particularly exciting or fun, but it wasn't too bad. It really didn't take too long before I felt my confidence come back.
Still a little rough. Gonna need a bit of a refresher on the anatomy and other studies I was doing before I stopped.
Oh well.

Haha. Yeah, mouths are great. All them teeth and tongues and stuff.
I may draw cartoony and all, but learning how people's teeth sorta line up and gradually turn inward, extending into the head in a couple of half-oval sorta shapes, was handy.
The mouth is a good way to create a little bit of facial depth since you can fill their head with teeth, gums, a tongue, a throat, and all that.
Lots of room for subtlety or extremes with the things too, creating vastly different expressions or personalities. Combined with the rest of the character's parts, it can all add up to something unique every single time.
