No one knows! The voice actor of Louis accidentally let spill he'd done some voice acting for L4D2, plus VALVe know we love the original cast so.....

Yeah the original bunch had a classic charm about them, ultra stereotypical and generic but it suited the zombie apocalypse, the angry biker, student, businessman and the grizzly old war veteran.
You just know your safe during a zombie outbreak if your with a smoking, aged war vet!

I don't get why people are so angry about L4D2. Maybe Valve actually wanted to develop a new game for once, rather than hand out a free map pack. New characters, new setting, new plot.
Plus, considering TF2 updates are free and Half Life episode 3 isn't coming out until 6 years after Duke Nukem Forever, they need to make SOMETHING to keep them in business.

Well to be honest L4D is a very bare bones game with the content, plus there are still numerous bugs and exploits still not fixed since launch....
I can totally see the point of the Boycotter's but from what I've seen L4D2 looks too much fun to miss out on.......

Agreed. Though I never owned the first one. I think I might pick both up right after I get a decent machine to run them on - I can barely get TF2 going at a decent framerate on MY hunk of junk.
