This is a sketch for a commission that I'm doing for , but I couldn't resist throwing a little color and a background on it and posting it! This is by far one of the coolest commissions I've ever done. After seeing his parents murdered by Eternian raiders, Bat-Man traveled across planets and dimensions to hone his skills, so that he could bring order and justice to the lawless. He was eventually recruited by the Horde for his tenacity and skill, but it wasn't long before he saw that the Horde was not interested in justice. Hordak's "order" came at too high a cost for Bat-Man to stomach. After learning of Hordak's plan to invade Eternia, he returned to his homeworld to help defend against the coming onslaught.
