Full video from project - www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqMk4G…Was lucky enough to get my hands on an Oculus Rift, so I've been learning how to paint in Virtual Reality. Its a mad experience, really loving it though! So here's my first experiment done in Quill - "The Hunt"

That looks so cool! Question: Does 'painting' this way feel more like drawing or sculpting? Since you're making a 3D image, I can imagine it's more like sculpting, but the end result looks really painterly, if that makes sense, haha.

It's a weird one to describe. So when I was starting off I just blocked out shapes with a flat brush for the environment etc (More so sculpting) Then for the characters I used a wireframe that I drew in 3D space.(More drawing) This was very challenging. You then treat that wireframe like a paper mache and paint/sculpt on top of it. Its like a cool mixture of the two skills. If you want to see it in action check out Goro Fujita's gumroad he has a couple of process videos that helped me.
