Tal Rasha's Chambers, from Blizzards Diablo 2. Made for a small project for my Online class. I enjoyed making this scene, as with the other Diablo scenes

Modeled in Maya and textured/touched in Photoshop.

This scene looks really awesome defiantly has the mood of containing Baal. But I do have one question, I was just wondering why your Tyrael don't have arms nor legs, although it looks amazing already without any limbs. XD

Thanks for checking it out. I actually originally had the chains hanging loosely, like one would expect chains to be doing, but I realized that they had to be really tight because they are what's holding up the island over the pit.
I also found that the size of the links makes the scene look like a miniature, but once again, those babies have to hold up a whole island! (That's also roughly the size/shape of the chains in the game).

I appreciate the pointers tho!

ah. i just checked out screens of tal rasha's chamber. i guess they are tight. weird, i could have sworn they were loose, maybe in the cinematic. basically i thought the chains were acting as a tie-down and that the "island" floated on it's own

Ooooooh, I think you're right.
The cini shows the island floating and the chains are, for the most part, just there to anchor it.

I did some Bioshock and Windwaker stuff, but hope to do more of SOMETHING sometime soon. The current classes at school don't really call for that type of work at the moment tho

Not too sure if I'll do any more Diablo stuff tho, but who knows.
I'd love to try something along the lines of D3's painterly textures and moody lighting.
