And after LOTS of time, I give you, you long suffering deviants, the last.

There was not much conflict among the more common Asgard gossip that Prince Loki has been looking particularly smug, ever since that hush down debacle of his notorious marriage to Lady Sigyn (which many very strange and entertaining stories had popped out much to the amusment of a green eyed fiend).

To be honest they didn't get to hear much of the new couple, and since Thor was always poor entertainment now, they were hungry for some hush whispered, sharp tongued story. And Loki ALWAYS had been better gossip anyhow. But even the (second) queen of Asgard, Freya, had almost nothing to say of her daughters new husband, but an eye roll and sneer. So the city had to content itself with glances of the new couple, a little caught-off-guard at the light air that accompanied the darker, war wrought prince.

Until six or so months later.

It was all Thors fault. He, who had been so down, suddenly seemed to regain some old fire and saunter around Asgard like the Prince regent he is. It was Fandral who first got the sneaky (as sneaky as Thor could be) hints. Conniving at the pub, he started his questioning.

"But, by goodness, old chap! You're as happy as if just won the Tournament of Kings! Now tell us!" Thor's grin widened and Fandral leaned in, along with

"Nothing really, it is just some family news. Things going well..." Fandral grinned.

"Odin is finally letting down his old values on marriage?" Thor looked depressed and Volstagg jumped in, several of his children jumping on him, pulling at him. Thor gave a strange smile at the sight of the little ones.

"I'm sure he will soon." Lady Sif snorted which led Volstagg to try and correct himself. "But then if not good tiding on fortune for you... right now of course, I'm sure that he will.... nev-"

Fandral jumped back in. "WHAT is it? We are dying here to know your good news!" Hogun watched Thor grin at the children, understanding the unsaid message, but remaining quiet as usual.

Thor carefully worded his statement, trying not to give anything away (because he really DID wish to respect Loki's wishes, but really the news should be celebrated through Asgard. Maybe returning some honor to his misguided brother.) Sigyn had done wonders for Loki.

Ever since they returned with the couple from the gates of Hel. nothing seemed to phase his brother, not even the prison cell which he hardly ever got to leave. But those few moments he did, he definatly spent his time well.

"Oh, just some good news about Loki."

"Loki?" Sif said, suddenly interested. She was careful about any news with Loki. Fandral rubbed his chin, then,as if the Valkeries had blessed his mind, he got a rather lecherous grin.

"Just Loki.... Or Loki and Sigyn?" Fandral was one of the first to forgive Loki, since he was quite good sport. Besides, the whole Migard thing was hardly nothing, if not just to Thor, and disloyalty to the throne, etc. Sif was still quite angry, until Sigyn herself talked with her. But Loki still made her furious and she made a grossed out face at Fandral's line of thought.

"Don't be disrespectful." She threw a light hit and bopped him on the shoulder. But she stopped her line of thought as she saw Thor awkwardly laugh and scratch his head, a trying a little too hard.

"Something along those lines."

Immediatly all in the little group felt a mixture of awkward discomfort, a sort of toned down joy (mostly for Sigyn), and absolute shock. Even the folks and servers in the nearby area had stopped, just receiving some first class, chew toy information.

Volstagg blinked...."Um.... Congratulations?" Fandral picked up his drink, shipping some, then holding the massive barrel up, gave a toast. The rest slowly followed, Sif being the last.

"Is he not locked away?" she asked sceptically. She almost wished Sigyn somehow found a lover of sorts.

Thor shrugged. "That never stopped Loki."

Asgard was absolutely ALIVE and thrilled, somewhat forgiving Loki, if not making some extremely nasty comments while doing so.
Loki was less then impressed, especially as he became the receiving end of many comments, compliments, and angry glares, (mostly from Red Hawks. They'd never forgive him.) irronically from behind a very magically reinforced cell. Even Odin dropped in, not saying a word, just pretending to give and inspection. He was sure he saw a grandfatherly approval on the old liars face.

He casually watched in his gilded prison for the guard. Soon enough, both appeared, and he smirked as he was put in chains (a little less tight as he ever reminded the guard) and was lead for his weekly revival of happiness, thanks to his mother. The twisted through the empty halls of the palace, noting every crevice every step. He finally reached a a familiar set of doors and entered, quite gleefully. The guard took of the cuffs, but Loki knew that he was not alone. He could sense his mothers magic thick, watching. But no matter. Loki snapped his fingers, his princely appearance returning. He would not look anything else to his lady.

He noticed her sitting on the window seat

Long hair was unbounded, racing down, catching the afternoon light, highlights more gold then the room. She just seemed to be thinking, but every once in awhile a hand would smooth over the slowly growing bump, and just for a moment, because he had not much time, he let her stay in her thoughts.

But then he got a little bored and attention seeking. He sneakily moved behind her, then in a swift motion twisted himself and turned her carefully, just enough to make himself her new chair. He watched the beloved shock expression on her face turn to a somewhat sassy (I am pregnant) frown.

"Is that anyway to treat the woman pregnant with your child?" He grinned.

"No, just the special treat my wife Has. Your expressions never fail to amuse me." She gave in, resting on the leg, clearly tired. Loki grabbed a hand, and rubbed it, then put it on the stomach, feeling the wild one that was coming.

"He's like a wolf." She remarked, marveling of the kicking lessened as Loki's hand expertly re-explored the new width. She could almost she his thought, wishing to see every moment. Personally, she was glad that he wasn't here every second. Protective, moody Loki who let her do nothing alone was a little much. She did miss him but sometimes he was more a princess then she.

"Or a king." Loki cut in, going dangerously near a mood destroying topic. He was always doing this, and Sigyn did not have the energy to combat him of late, so she let it roll away. Her feet hurt to much and she felt like she was carrying a giant sack on her stomach. A moving sack. She didn't know when she last saw her feet. It had not been an easy pregancy, and thankfully Frigga had been with her, the best Loki replacement that was around.

But she had come to learn to appreciate her husband, if he also drove her up the wall. She tried to stay in the moment, and she was most happy like that. Loki was not stupid enough to ruin any time with her, bringing up the past anymore.

She blinked, awakened from the thoughtful moment by her attention hungry husband. As a hand ran through her hair, and several kisses woke her up from staring, his green eyes, bright. "You couldn't possibly be wanting to sleep? Fine way to treat your lonely husband."

Loki loved talking to her, but of late he was swinging back to a more romantic approach to these moments. The cell was wearing on him. But how dare he!

"It is your fault I resemble a Vanaheim cow, and am as hard worked as one." How rude of him! How dare he make fun while here she was, fat, also lonely, and hidden from the world.

"I don't remember any complaints." His grin widened. "And I don't see any resemblance to a cow, no matter the universe."

"Well you do wear the horns." A moment of silence. Then a gasp as he gave her a very long kiss only breaking it slightly to make a comment.

"Have I maybe found my match?" He joked, and then returned to the conquest of making her remember who was in charge. A few minutes later she somehow managed to stop the barrage before she lost total thought.

"WAit.... Wai-.... Wait... I have to .....about... Tho-" Loki stopped, seemingly annoyed. He hated Thor or Odin to interrupt, even in conversation. Sigyn reposed herself.

"I think Thor let the news get out."

"I would imagine so. Asgard is always ready for some royal gossip. I can imagine you have had your fair share of attention." Sigyn wouldn't mention the numerous death threat she had also received. She and Frigga could handle it. "And besides, what man would not become jealously caught up when you have become so unwilling the victim of my silver tongue and free ways? Any man been giving you untoward attention? I'll see to him."

"Of course not." Even if she had, she was not willing to account for being the cause of murder. "Should I do anything about the news?"

"I think it's best to let them brew." Loki didn't mention that posterity was a key factor in a good King. Asgard would lean more toward them as time passed and Thor had no wife, or children. Not to mention Asgard seemed to love the image of sweet Sigyn. Many benefits of this arrangement. "But.... you could make me feel a little better. I am so lonely, really, away from you. Any my own child is growing to his own accord. He will be mighty, no doubt." He leaned back in. "What shall I do to gain favor, my queen?"

Sigyn pouted leaning away to his chargin. The girlish expression seeming strange to do, but she knew it was an attention grabber, a tease."Only on one condition."

"Anything." This time, his fingers touched her face, a soft smile appearing.

"Don't ever wear the helmet." The smirk grew wider.
