Since I should be studying for finals, of course all I want to do is draw. To keep things quick, I colored this sketch without inking it -- hope you don't mind the mess.

That happens sometimes. You hate something the first time but then you change a little over time and you end up liking what you used to hate or dislike or whatever. xD
I love canon pairings. <3 Maybe I am just the odd one out? I don't meet too many people that ever care for canon pairings. lol I think the only pairing that I really like that isn't really 'canon' per se, but very questionable is AerisxCloud. They are and will probably always be my favorite pairing. x3
And Rinoa is kind of lame so I don't care too much if people make Squall gay...it's probably better that way anyways. lol

Yeah, cannon pairings often don't seem as popular. I actually like them myself, just not usually the "main" pairing. So instead of liking ZidanexDagger a lot, I'll be a big fan of SteinerxBeatrix or something. XD It's not that I don't like the main pairing, it's just that it's not as much fun for me to create fan stuff for them because their story is already laid out for you.... Or something. XD

Omg, Squall! I am soooo happy.
Oooh, I love the smile, and I really love the green. He looks so good in that color, and hardly no one ever puts him in it. The hair looks fantastic, and I really adore the eyes, especially the heavy lining on the top lashes. It looks really good, too, without the outlining. Good job!

Yeah, I never refer to him as Leon, either! Why would they change his name for KH?? I didn't like what they did to his hair, either.

In KH they actually explain why he calling himself Leon (in the character info book thing I think?). Something about not being able to save people he cared about when the Heartless attacked his world so he was ashamed and refusing to use his real name. X3 EMO.

Yeah, I know... But I just wonder why they felt that had to make that silly storyline at all. He's embarrassed so he changes his name to Leon?? They just should've left it alone.

Oh, I think they changed it because he is the very first FF cameo in the series (not counting the AU Destiny Island kids). So, before he shows up, when everyone is telling Sora he needs to talk to Leon, youre like "Who the heck is Leon?" X3 And then SURPRISE!GUNBLADE!OHSHI---!!! 
Its for MYYYSTERY *wiggles fingers* ;D And for fangeek effect. At least thats what I think.
But then Sora keeps calling him Leon because Sora is, on occasion, dense as a brick, so they had to come up with a reason for it to carry over into the rest of the series. XD
