Description
Taegara is old goddess of earth. She is the actually the earth herself. When she walks the land, she is creating mountains and the tip of her tail is creating new rivers. She is always surrounded by flock of little blue birds (but they are not here, lol).

Her only son is the Spirit of Earth, who breathes the life into his mother's work. Taegara creates the rivers and Spirit of Earth fills them with fish. They used to walk the earth together. When she and all other gods disappeared, he started to cry and was ashamed of himself, so he started digging into the earth and he never stopped, in fear that someone could see his tears.

Taegara is the goddess of power of nature, both giving or taking. She is the one who creates the earthquake or volcano eruptions when she is grieving for separation of her and her child. Much older than any other gods and much more powerful, she lives and exists by different rules. Because of that, she isn't patroness of no one, she is just respected like some start, the initial impetus of life. When the eartquake happens, people throw flowers and little gifts to the fissures in the ground to hush her.

The legend says that when when the mortal and godly world were separated, her tears fell down to the desert and made amout of oases.
