I really like this one but I must admit that the pre-evo (second stage) of it looks just like the first stage with just longer feathers... This one I imagined it with some kind of diferent colors have you tried it out with not soooo much green in it? Still goning to add it to my favs keep up the good work!

but it's a grass type.. green is the main color, and that dark green is almost black, i don't want a mega-super colorful grass type because it doesn't have flowers on its body or something that should have another colors, and, a pink wing would look awful.
now, the first stage and the second stage are different, the 2nd stage is bigger, tougher and the wings have different colors. the evolution is not a drastic change... just look at charmander and charmeleon, marril and azumarril, bulbasaur and ivysaur, slowbro and slowpoke and see what i mean

you really got a point there but from a long away distance you can know the diference between all of those you mentioned, its like puting them in silhouets. Charmeleon has a kind of horn on the head plus the bigger claws, ivysaur has its flower open, and between slowpoke and slowbro the diference is huge, I mean from laying down all the time to standing up with a big shell on its head... :-P the discusion is interesting but i will still think that they look alike AND i still like your work.
