Lava demons- semi-open species Introduction: Deep in the galaxy, there is a planet covered in volcanoes and lava. The surface temperature is just cool enough that rock stays solid, but plenty hot that most creatures don't survive there. Rivers of lava flood the land, geysers shoot flames, and rocky cliffs and valleys tear through the surface. But select few animals and plants have adapted to thrive in these conditions. Lava demons are the largest and most powerful. They rule the land.What is a Semi-Open Species?:A semi-open species is an original species that a person created. This person allows anybody to make a member, but certain traits you have to pay for.Description:Lava demons are large creatures resembling elephants. Their skin is coated in a thick layer of lava, which dries out, creating patches of dark stone. They average around 20 ft tall (6 meters), and 10 tons (over 6000 kg). Here's a semi-accurate size ratio: adult human (6ft/2m) to lava demon. ,Despite their enormous stature, boiling hot skin and threatening name, lava giants are gentle, docile creatures. They're very social, forming strong bonds of family and friendship. However, new parents are very protective over their children, and young adults are prone to aggression. These animals are very intelligent, and love adventure. They roam in packs called eruptions. An eruption of lava demons can contain anywhere from 8-30 demons. The leader of the eruption is the lava demon who brings home the most food. Diet: Lava giants are omnivorous. They eat small lava lizards, heat-resistant plants and fungi, and even some rocks. Powers: Lava giants are incredibly physically strong. Their tough lava skin resists most injuries, and they shoot fire from their trunks. They also have some control over their temperature, so they can solidify patches of lava on command. Superglows cannot do this, as their lava is far hotter than the average. They can have patches of fire in various spots, or not. Reproduction: Lava demons reproduce sexually. An Egg carrier and a Sperm Giver mate, and the egg carrier soon lays 1-4 eggs. These eggs germinate inside of volcanoes, and the parents take turns protecting them. They hatch into smaller lava demons, and the parents raise them. The eggs take a year to hatch, and babies take six years to mature. The average lava demon lifespan is around 60 years, with the lucky ones living to 80. Similarly, you can only have up to 3 rare traits. You can have as many commons and uncommon as you want (and can afford)-no using alt accounts to get more free traits.How to obtain traits: -Simply by commenting, you unlock infinite common traits, three uncommon, and one rare. -for every ten lava demons you make, you unlock your choice of 2 uncommon or one rare. Just no abusing this feature, or I'll remove it and you'll be blacklisted. Don't be the jerk who ruins this for everyone.-You can also buy traits! -15 points for an uncommon-30 points for a rare-50 points for a legendary.-If you buy an adop, you also get those traits.
