As long as you don't use it for commercial purposes and provide credit, then sure~

Excuse me, but how do you upload your sprites without making them Β blurry? Look at my spritesheet, even when I zoom in it's still blurrier and smaller than the one on paint. Yes, I saved it as a PNG. Thanks in advance. (Also, sorry if I'm bothering you, I do seem quite annoying..)

Your spritesheet seems to be okay when you click on download but you're right, otherwise it looks blurry. I guess it's just something to do with deviantart... What did you select for the display options when you first uploaded it? I usually leave mine at 'original'. That's all I can really think of. You're not annoyed, though I'm sorry I can't really be of much more help.

gaypuff In reply to TheGeckoNinja [2014-02-09 10:39:23 +0000 UTC]
I want to, but finding a programmer that's actually available is a bit of a feat it seems. D;

It's funny because in the webcomic world (where I started out, more or less) it's exactly the other way around, the artists are the flaky ones.
;o Oh? Who is it you work with and what are you working on? Do tell~
π: 0 β©: 1
TheGeckoNinja In reply to gaypuff [2014-02-10 06:29:24 +0000 UTC]
oh i agree its on both sides ive met artist who flake out as well
his name is flo and we are working on a couple of games but he is young but extremely good at programming in unity3D, games are more experimental in a way

I have looked into that program. I think sprite games in that program are doable but I haven't had anyone actually verify this. Can you?
π: 0 β©: 1
TheGeckoNinja In reply to gaypuff [2014-02-11 18:21:14 +0000 UTC]
yes we actually got a 2D side scroller working on it, and 2D games i think became an added feature to unity

Awesome. =0 What about 2.5D and/or 3D for sprite games?
π: 0 β©: 1
TheGeckoNinja In reply to gaypuff [2014-02-11 20:28:00 +0000 UTC]
same they all work c:
our game originally was 2.5D and we tried a full 2D and it also worked, so i say unity is probably the best for making games c:

Ooh, that's very good to hear. ;o Thanks for the info.
So this programmer of yours, does he have some spare time on his hands or something?
π: 0 β©: 1
TheGeckoNinja In reply to gaypuff [2014-02-11 23:39:30 +0000 UTC]
hes pretty busy so im not sure, and i showed him your page he said your art looks great hes just not into pixel art, which i feel he needs to learn to love pixel art because pixel art brings you that retro game feel which is really big with older gamers

Yeah? Well I certainly wouldn't mind. As long as you're okay with me learning as we go, since I know shit all about spriting for actual games. xD;
Let me know when you're up for trying something. I've been aching to sprite for a game anyway so I'm ready when you are. ;o

There are tutorials on how to sprite pretty much every where. Try pixeljoint.com or search on google.com.

Oh thanks! Always nice to receive more in depth comments.
Well you're welcome to cut them up into separate objects if you like. I'm not bothered, so long as you give credit/a link back.

I try to give good comments, upon the images I really like, and when I have the time to do so. ^^
R-really? ...You would be okay with that, as long as I credit?
Oh THANK YOU SO MUCH. :iconspazhupplz:
IF I could get the chance, I could separate them as necessary, and put them on my "Sta.sh"...or scraps...with a link to this wonderful collection image, in the description...as well as telling others, in a disclaimer, that I fully take NO credit but their separation into individual objects, AND, I'll link to this conversation, so that the admins won't try to ream me about not getting permission, when you did.
Does all that sound okay?

*shrug* Go for it, even if you want to make a texture pack. Credit would be nice though, if you do end up making a texture pack.
