Exactly, I know that the movie attempted to balance bringing protagonists, American and Japanese, but just gave five minutes of fighting the other nations, and to top it off, the opposing team was also Anglo-Saxon (Australian or English, I do not remember), I would have chosen these nations as a military power with robots: USA, Russia, Germany, China, and perhaps India or France, its army is not so bad.
Another thing the robot protagonist should have been more ..ehem .....pathetic, garbage, old trash, nostalgic, Β I mean, that's protagonist is not expected anything and suddenly achieves the miracle with great courage and 90% of stupid luck.
And the greatest sin, not giving to Japan the most advanced robot.
